The infrastructure funding from the recovery act was not for major projects that take years to complete. They were for smaller shovel ready projects that were ready to start immediately. Projects near me went to entrance ramps, park improvement, shoulder and drainage improvements.I live in Nassau County and visit Brooklyn and Queens a lot.Bull ShitIs there a list of those communities. There were plenty of Shovel Ready Jobs. Billions went to support projects in local communities/——/ There were no shovel ready jobs, the horrible, lying, scumbag Barack Obozo even joked about it: Obama's 'Shovel-Ready' Joke Draws Criticism, Corrections
The funny part was when Republicans bitched that there were signs stating that this project was funded through the Stimulus program
Nothing happened in Nassau County, Brooklyn or Queens.
The Infrastructure project just started in 2018.
I can’t imagine that out of 75,000 projects funded by the recovery act, none were in Brooklyn, Queens or Nassau County
Jesus! If you’ve ever driven around NYC you know it’s never ending construction projects !
