It is more the farming/ranching in the desert that is the problem in California, but the residents are too sheepish to stand up for themselves against big agriculture's interests.

Gov. Jerry Brown helped cancel the Auburn Dam project, which would have done much to solve California's perennial water crisis. Why we keep electing these Demwits is an irrational mystery.

The problem with that conclusion is Rs aren’t any better.

Some people seem to disagree with that, although perhaps only one farm raises the $4B annually the three desert counties produce in agriculture products a year... California's desert agriculture is hot stuff

thats in the Imperial valley....they have some of the best soil in the world because of the Colorado river being diverted to that area....

The imperial valley - the most productive farm land on planet earth, is technically desert.

And Kim Jong "Gavin" Nutsack cut off the water to it.
