Why aren't people taking the Aryan Brotherhood seriously?

Because the media picks and chooses what they want others to see. This isnt one of the things they want people to know about. Not sure why though.

Huggy, some people do abuse their positions in the court, but murder rather than legal options is not the route to redress.

Putting armed security in action at the courts and on the private residences is one part of it.

Locking up possible killers and or weak leaks that lead to killers is another part of it.

Setting up "killer hunter teams" that target locations where the bad asses go (for sex, for food, for $$$ ~ the best place to hunt prey is where the prey gathers ~ that's why many predators try to get into school systems, etc) will be the final move.

The AB has about a month to submit or die.

I hear ya but dissagree on the final resolution. The AB litterally is up against a wall already. They are already willing to kill to make a point. The DOJ will never go that far without eventual public condemnation. My bet is that more DAs and judges and LE's and DOJ's will die before the officials very quitely submit to better treatment of the AB. If the AB is willing to kill to get respect in the justice system and it doesn't "cost" anything to be more respectfull that is what will eventually happen.

Won't the system just bring pure hell fire on the AB for what they done? I would imagine if BGF or Vice lords did this they would already be rounding them up.

You made my point. The general public is more interested in the boogeyman plot.

Actually Because I Know, the general public is more interested in Kim and Kanye and what they are going to name their baby, Honey Boo Boo, or the latest antics of Justin Bieber.

:)

We're political and news animals on this board. The rest of the planet....not so much.

It's the one's on the street that need to worry. From now on all arrests and investigations of warrents will be handled by SWAT teams. There will be no misstreatment in the jails and prisons. It is one thing to surround a house or apartment and barge in prepared for combat. The thing about jail and prison that most people do not understand is that BOTH the inmates and the corrections officers are locked up for at least eight hours. Unless an inmate is in segregation or solitary confinement (the hole) the DOJ officers are easy victims of retalitory violence. There are far more potential perps willing to make a statement in defense of thier gang than there are places to confine them if things go sideways. You have to understand that to take away the protection the gang offers would be a certain death sentence for many in the AB. Getting a few more years for shanking a gaurd is a small price to pay in place of getting killed by a rival gang. Most of these guys are used to being in prison anyway. It is actually easier for them and preferable to being out in public where there are too many variables. Everything the leaders want is already there for the taking. Sex, drugs..special food.. On the street they have to risk the police..getting killed or robbed for drugs and money ...and the skanks they have sex with are sometimes less desirable than a cute little butt boy in prison.

I think, Huggy, in Texas, particularly, the LEO will set up "hunter killer" teams to take out particular men out in the community, while in the prisons the AB big men will be put into minority majority prison populations without other AB around them. If enough damage occurs to the AB in a relatively short time, they will dial down. If they don't dial down, keep putting their leadership and heavy hitters into unprotected prison populations. The AB will learn.

If learning was thier strong suit they wouldn't be in prison. Don't forget that reprisals can happen in other prisons for an action taken by a rival gang in another. A leader singled out and taken to a prison to get him killed can be dealt with as a blood bath somewhere else. Ther are only so many prisons. That would be a foolish strategy by the DOC and they know it. There are THOUSANDS of ABs and just a handfull of maximum security prisons.

You would think after killing 4 government officials it would spark some kind of controversy but also discussion, while it has appeared on the media, it isn't the way it should be. If they were Muslims we would be outraged and would set measures so high for security and awareness and make a giant deal out of it. But it seems like this won't reach that climax. A Texas prosecutor dropped out after citing security concerns in a case regarding the Aryan Brotherhood. So it definitely is a big concern. But people don't want to get fired up about it unless its the way they want it and the people they want.

No one calls them the Aryan Brotherhood any more. Now, they are called core members the Republican Party.

Pulaski, Tennessee - The Ku Klux Klan officially disbanded today claiming that the Republican Party has co-opted all of their ideas concerning race, immigration and religion and that there was no longer any need for their existence.

more proof rdean is nothing but a liar

rdean, it is comments like that makes 90% of the rest of us laugh our asses off.

You are the lefties' equivalent of EdwardBaiamonte or Yurt.

If someone in prison is not in an ethnic prison gang, they are dead. They band together for safety, which is why the Aryan Brotherhood is largely unknown and ineffective outside of prisons. At least until they become politically useful and now they have.
If they're ineffective outside of prison, how do you account for the killings of prosecutors in Texas?

It is only April, I am sure rdean will have a post later that makes this one look positively sane.

Can you PROVE that these killings were done by anyone in or connected to the Aryan Brotherhood? Or did you just hear it on TV or the internet? It's politically useful to blame white supremacists. It's politically useful to blame white people, period. We have a governmental interest in minimizing the crimes of hispanics and inflating the crimes of white people. It's part of immigration reform.

The entire MO is classic to drug cartels. They might indeed have recruited white criminal mercenaries to murder those targeted by the cartels. The fight though is between drug purveyors and those who prosecute them. In Texas, the link is being actively pursued. States under federal decree have been releasing criminals at a remarkable rate, DHS has released thousands of criminal aliens who were to be deported. Did you honestly think this would have no effect?
