His Father was born in Kenya with the same name... perhaps lead to her confusion? Its not like she knew who he was in person or any of the people in the bio clips she had to write up for the staff of the publishing company she was an assistant or intern at? America.... though it is not really a country....I suppose the proper answer would be the United States of America...

But my mother is Italian born and I did live in Italy for 3 years in my earliest teens when my father was stationed there and got to meet a lot of my relatives and family there including my great grand mother, and aunts uncles and cousins, so in a sense, it became more of my heritage than I expected or ever thought it could...

but again, if you think Michelle wrote in to a public speech that Kenya was the place of barack's birth...and was not talking about his heritage through his father....then I think you need to join the looney tunes....
