yes and that is unprotected hetro sex...as the site says...poverty has much to do with it....

in africa they believe that sex with a virgin will cure aids....so they rape infants...nice damn place ...

Yes, and that is why they are dealing so harshly with it over there.

The study also found that those starting therapy in 2003 were more likely than those in 1995 to be female and infected with HIV through heterosexual rather than homosexual contact.

"Twenty years ago AIDS was a disease of middle class, white, gay men, but it is increasingly a disease of poverty," said Dr. Carlos del Rio, co-director of Atlanta's Emory University Center for AIDS Research. "Patients today are less likely to have access to good medical care, so it is not surprising that they are sicker when we first see them."

AIDS death rate same despite new drugs

Thank you.

I haven't put you on ignore. Why don't you answer my questions?

. I talk about the Uganda legislation and most people I know are sympathetic to my concerns about it and are supportive. They oppose the FRC.

.

But why?. It went no where because one awful man had an ugly awful unconstitutional idea. You don't directed your hate at him, instead you are led down a dishonest path to hate FRC. Many posters here have shown you where you are wrong and that it was and is indeed an agenda against evangelicals as hate groups for daring to support traditional marriage, lifestyles and values.

This also begs the question I didn't see you answer regarding how the Tebow commercial was hateful? Or how on earth do you think abstinence is homophobic?

Good luck getting a straight answer.

The Family Research Council’s deceptive use of social science to defend DOMA

The Family Research Council is using lies and distortions to defend what they call Christian beliefs. And I make that distinction because true Christian beliefs don’t need to be defended through the spreading of propaganda and the distortion of legitimate science.

Jesus said that “I am the way, the truth, and the light.” He did not say “feel free to lie with impunity as long as you are doing it in defense of my kingdom.”

Family Research Council Founder travels with Rentboy Lucien.

The pictures on the Rentboy.com profile show Lucien, a shirtless young man with delicate features, guileless eyes, and sun-kissed, hairless skin. The profile touts his "smooth, sweet, tight ass" and "perfectly built 8 inch cock (uncut)" and explains he is "sensual," "wild," and "up for anything" — as long you ask first. And as long as you pay.

Rekers wouldn't deny he met his slender, blond escort at Rentboy.com — which features homepage images of men in bondage and grainy videos of crotch-rubbing twinks — and Lucien confirmed it.

At the small western Miami townhome he shares with a roommate, a nervous Lucien expressed surprise when we told him that Rekers denied knowing about his line of work from the beginning. "He should've been able to tell you that," he said, fidgeting and fixing his eyes on his knees. "But that's up to him."

For decades, George Alan Rekers has been a general in the culture wars, though his work has often been behind the scenes. In 1983, he and James Dobson, America's best-known homophobe, formed the Family Research Council, a D.C.-based, rabidly Christian, and vehemently anti-gay lobbying group that has become a standard-bearer of the nation's extreme right wing.

The Family Research Council has been known for distorting legitimate statistics to stigmatize the lgbt community, but in this case it seems that the organization has sunken to a new low – distorting news articles.

So why did this gay soldier betray America?

What distortions? They never even posted this ..."His tagline on his personal page reads: "Take me for who I am, or face the consequences!"

And the other post was a joke singularly meant for you. Not a group in general.

Right. Another dig. You made the joke at my expense. And you expect me to keep talking to you? Forget it.

Now you claim this soldier 'betrayed America' because he is gay? Yeah right. No gay prejudice in you.

Why not - it was funny.

You never do give a straight answer or a direct one for that matter.

I claimed nothing.

He is gay. He betrayed our country.

You are the one making accusations. I asked for your explanation.

I don't owe you an explanation for his statement. I'm not Bradley Manning nor his lawyer. Some people consider Manning a hero.

Okay, perfect. Let's pick this apart, shall we?

Here is your article from the blog that you linked and what they are accusing the FRC of, supposedly 'homophobic lies'. My additions are in red. I bolded what Sky's blog article said that they took directly from the FRC article that they are bashing.

Family Research Council Attacks Bradley Manning With Homophobic Lies

The Family Research Council has finally sunken to a level that even I can’t begin to ponder.

In the current news, there is a huge controversy involving a website called Wikileaks. This site has displayed classified documents of the U.S. war in Afghanistan. In the center of this controversy is Bradley Manning, a 22-year-old gay soldier suspected of leaking documents to Wikileaks. He is currently awaiting court martial.

There is much speculation as to why Manning may have leaked these documents. But not to the Family Research Council. A post on the organization’s webpage says the following:

This is the excerpt taken from the FRC Article shown in Sky's blog.

It turns out that Manning is an extreme homosexual activist, whose fury over the services’ homosexual policy may have led him to publicize highly classified documents about the wars. According to the U.K.’s Telegraph, Manning has an extensive history of campaigning for gay, lesbian, and transgendered causes and sources say he may have even been considering a sex change when he leaked military secrets on the Internet.

Although the U.S. press is relatively mum on his personal life, the British paper questions how Manning got away with “flaunting” his sexuality when DADT is still in effect.

There are several serious problems with FRCs claims. If you look at the link to the British article so generously provided by the organization, nothing in it connects Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell to Manning’s alleged leaking of documents.

The FRC article has a direct link to Military Homosexual Scandal Tied to WikiLeaks Treason | US Opinion and Editorial Right Side News the article that they were quoting right in their article, and that is what they sourced it too. The FRC article never claimed that the British article made this claim. So, the actual article they were citing in the FRC article also was also generously provided by the FRC, so this is a lie by the author of the blog article.

Furthermore, there is nothing in the British article about Manning seeking a sex change.

The article on FRC never said that the British article was the source that they used to print that information in their article. So, this is a lie by the author of this piece. I will document below from the actual FRC article to show as proof.

And lastly, there is nothing – not one thing – in the British article which poses any question about Manning allegedly “flaunting his sexuality.”

The FRC correctly sourced Cliff Kincaid as the source for their article right in their piece, which I will link below for anyone to go directly to the FRC article and see for themselves, so this is a lie by the author of the blog piece.

FRC attributes these speculations to the British article when they actually came from another source – Cliff Kincaid of the right-wing group Accuracy in Media.

They did source Cliff Kincaid in the FRC article, and never claimed that the British article that they had cited earlier was the source for all of the information. Below is the link to the FRC article and the specific text that Sky's blog took from it. Kinkaid was given credit for the comments they repeated, not the British paper.

Banning Manning: Why One Gay Soldier Compromised America's Mission

Asked what grade he would give his administration after 18 months in office, the President responded, "Incomplete." Whether it's overturning the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) or flooding the military with open homosexuals, this President has a lot more on his social "to do" list than most of us can stomach. For the last several months, his vision of turning the military into a sexual playground was within grasp. I say "was," because a shocking story of treason may force Congress to rethink the wisdom of revoking the 1993 law against homosexuality in the military.

In May, when U.S. authorities arrested Army Private Bradley Manning for leaking classified information to WikiLeaks.org, there were whispers that he was politically motivated. It turns out that Manning is an extreme homosexual activist, whose fury over the services' homosexual policy may have led him to publicize highly classified documents about the wars. According to the U.K.'s Telegraph, Manning has an extensive history of campaigning for gay, lesbian, and transgendered causes and sources say he may have even been considering a sex change when he leaked military secrets on the Internet.

Although the U.S. press is relatively mum on his personal life, the British paper questions how Manning got away with "flaunting" his sexuality when DADT is still in effect. "Was Manning given a pass because his 'lifestyle' was...acceptable under the Obama administration?" Cliff Kincaid asks. If so, then Manning's sedition may have given opponents of the repeal all the ammunition they need to kill the idea. Obviously, the Pentagon's "relaxed enforcement" of DADT is putting the entire United States military is at risk of losing thousands of lives and the war. "The revelations of Manning's openly pro-homosexual conduct suggest that a more liberal Department of Defense policy, in deference to the wishes of the Commander-in-Chief, had already been in effect and has now backfired in a big way," Kincaid writes.

A link to the British article, also cited and linked in the FRC post for anyone who is interested.

Bradley Manning, suspected source of Wikileaks documents, raged on his Facebook page - Telegraph

So, while you have to do quite a bit of untangling, there are no 'homophobic lies' in the FRC post/article at all, it's a bunch of smoke and mirrors to try to make an accusation against the FRC look credible, but when you look at the details of it, it's a bunch of crap. And this is exactly why I asked for SPECIFICS earlier.

Keep defending this hate group, Newby. FRC is smearing Manning and making it seem as though Manning leaked the documents because he is gay.

Why? Because they hate gay people. Now, they try and call us all traitors.

Some people consider Manning a hero.

Me? I don't know how I feel about the leak yet. Not enough information.

You claimed the FRC was distorting facts. I asked you where?

I also asked you why he did it since you seem to think other theories are wrong and hate based.

Hero or traitor was not your point.

You have again avoided and deflected my attempts to debate the piece you posted.
What are you afraid of?

Why don't you refute the facts that I pointed out above? You accused them of lying based on some stupid biased article that lied itself in order to smear the FRC. Why aren't you worried about the lies in YOUR source, Sky?

If the FRC wants to write an article about Manning, they are well within their rights to do so, there is nothing 'hateful' about the article that I posted and provided a link for.
