#47Traitors, And It's No Longer 1860 In America!

The newly elected Senator from Arkansas, Cotton, famously likes to remind people that everyone Ivy League is better than everyone else. So recently, in foreign relations, he wrote a letter. Now, days later, no one can agree with the mainly, mentally, misguided version of the world, anymore. U. S. Law can otherwise be shown to be mainly, mentally, misguided. People like Senator Cotton, are better now regarded as being a real part of that.

Senate GOP s Iran letter sparks outrage 47Traitors trend - NY Daily News

History recalls that Republicans are hard to predict. Like much of what they do, no one notes the great North American attempted genocide, 1861-1865, of U. S. white nationals. The Russians remember the Nazis. The Israeli Prime Minister recalled that Jews were only actually a part of the 50 million killed in WWII. Even now GOP mostly celebrates, "Freedom" as leading to a seat at the back of the bus. The skin is black. The mental heritage of the national and tribal, heritage and cultures: Was successfully eradicated in the slave trade.

So the world again has noted the Republican mentality, through their Senator from Arkansas, not at all a Clinton. The Secretary of State Clinton even had the good sense to keeps emails in a location, guarded by Secret Service. GOP representative Issa, comparing, may have even burned his location down--through an arsonist.

Now the #blackprez, of cartoonist notoriety, has created an initiative in the Middle East. The leader of the Israelis came to the Congress, showing that apparently there are no alternatives to the initiative under way. There is no apparent GOP alternative initiative in the offing.

Now the absence of clear direction is widely being noted, likely worldwide: And generally like is GOP as usual.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Holy Father in Rome now intends a patron saint of genocide, Father Junipero Serra, following along the moral tradition of the likely regarded, Pedophile Missionary Saint. Many maybe not aware of the differing versions of "How The West Was Won(?)! For this, we just used to have TV(?)!)

Actually, I thought I betrayed the president when I drank white milk I stead of chocolate. I just assumed that he wanted e evryone to drink dark milk but when I accidently thought that I wanted something else I realuzed I betrayed the president. Must obey master....

Traitors might be too harsh a word. But it was certainly unprecedented and extremely ill-advised. The sane wing of the GOP is already backing away, and it will only get worse. Democrats, who still hold minority power, are now alienated, and less likely to compromise and vote for anything the GOP comes up with.

It used to be that partisanship stopped at the waters edge, but no more. The GOP continues to shoot itself in the foot, and prove it's unfit to govern. WTF were they thinking?

Like they did before? Good grief

There were at least a dozen Democrats who pledged support for two GOP measures regarding the treaty talks. Kiss that goodbye. Good grief, indeed.

I doubt it

Jim Crow laws were entirely the Democrat's and also there's the fact that a higher percentage of Republicans in Congress voted for the Civil Rights Act than did Democrats.

My question to you is, are all liberals as dumb as you are?
Sir, you know good and well that the Democrats were the conservatives of the time. By pretending they were liberals you are proving yourself to be a dishonest hack.

That's what you would like to believe.

Watching the meltdown over this should scare the hell out of us

it's shows how they really are just sheep/subjects/tools for the Democrat party

It's been explained by libs to cons, but you just don't understand it. That's your problem: you don't get it, RGS.

What is easily understood is that you are not the conservative you've long claimed to be.

Soooo, a bunch of Twitters have their panties in a bunch. That's hardly a representative slice of Americana as only a fraction of Americans are Twitters (most in the idiot zone, under age 35) and only a fraction of them posted that silliness. Frankly, it's a non-story.

Except, they broke no laws.

But their base is more upset over a stinking letter being sent. I mean seriously what is this administration UP TO? They don't care about that

John Kerry: Tom Cotton’s right, we’re not negotiating a legally binding deal with Iran
posted at 4:01 pm on March 11, 2015 by Allahpundit

Via the Examiner, he’s not the only State Department official to admit this within the past 24 hours. Jen Psaki also acknowledged last night that a nuclear deal with Iran wouldn’t be legally binding, with good reason. The only way to give an international agreement the force of law vis-a-vis future presidents and Congresses is to have the Senate ratify it under its treaty power. Until that happens — and it won’t happen — this is a deal between Barack Obama and the Ayatollah Khamenei. Once one of them is gone, the deal remains valid if and only if his successor feels like abiding by it.

Which raises an obvious question.

Tom Cotton@SenTomCotton Follow

So then what exactly are you doing? RT @joshrogin: Kerry: "We are not negotiating a legally binding plan" with Iran.

The answer, I take it, is “inspections.” Any deal with the U.S. would — I hope — insist on unrestricted access to Iran’s nuclear infrastructure for UN inspectors along with an initial scaling down of uranium enrichment.

If Iran declares the deal off, kicks out the inspectors, and tries to “break out” by ramping up enrichment, that would be America’s cue to bomb. Except America’s not going to bomb, certainly not while Obama’s in charge and quite possibly not after his successor takes over.

The potential costs are high and the potential benefit, halting Iran’s program for a few years while they rebuild, is relatively low. The fear of renewed sanctions is the only thing that might keep Iran honest, but it also might be an incentive to cheat:

If the U.S. is this eager to bring the Iranian menace to heel now by making nice with them on enrichment and ISIS, imagine how much more eager we’ll be when Iran starts rattling a nuclear saber.

Pakistan is a nominal ally of the U.S mainly because it’s easier to keep a nuclear-armed “ally” in line than a nuclear-armed enemy. The same logic will hold for Iran, even if there’s a renewed freeze between them and the U.S. for a few years after they manage to build a bomb on the sly.

Another obvious question: Why, if the deal isn’t binding on Obama’s successor, is the White House so keen to make it happen with less than two years left in Obama’s presidency?

all of it here:
John Kerry Tom Cotton s right we re not negotiating a legally binding deal with Iran Hot Air

Remember Obama knew there were people like you describe when he wrote this in his autobiography...
"Dreams from My Father"...
"It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned.
People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves.
They were more than satisfied. They were revealed.
Such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn't seem angry all the time."

And of course Jonathan Gruber (the health advisor Obama HIRED to help cram ACA through) proved it when he called these LIPs/Obamatrons..."Stupidity of American voter".

When these people are more upset OVER A LETTER we are in big trouble that they vote

Not one of them said a thing when Pelosi went to Syria though Bush asked her not to go..
You got that ALL WRONG Miss Stephanie,

Pelosi and a group of REPUBLICANS went to Syria on the behalf of President Bush's Department of State and Department of Defense.

Pelosi My trip to Syria was nothing like the GOP s Iran letter TheHill

Hammill emphasized Wednesday that Pelosi's delegation included then-Rep. David Hobson (R-Ohio), a senior defense appropriator; it was preceded just days earlier by a similar visit to Damascus by GOP Reps. Joseph Pitts (Pa.), Robert Aderholt (Ala.) and former GOP Rep. Frank Wolf (Va.); and Rep. Darrell Issa (Calif.) met with Assad just a day after Pelosi did — a meeting that led Johndroe to comment, "We just don't think this is helpful."

While Pelosi was the most senior U.S. representative, Hammill also noted that she coordinated the visit with support from the administration.

"This visit was organized by the Bush State Department, executed by the Bush Defense Department, and officials from the Bush Administration's Embassy at the time in Damascus even sat in the meeting with President Assad," Hammill said. "As Republican Congressman David Hobson said at the time about the delegation's visit to Syria, 'I think we actually helped the administration's position by showing there's not dissension.'

"The comparison between the Republican Senator letter to Iran and Leader's Pelosi bipartisan delegation to the Middle East in 2007 does not stand up to any level of scrutiny," he charged.

Kennedy did it in 1984. Was it treason then? I never see any formal charges.

Ted Kennedy s Soviet Gambit - Forbes

As far as the Kennedy thing....

This was written by a man who wrote a book....he says he had USSR classified documents that showed this conversation between the two russians... I clicked on the link for the document that this author has put up just recently to show he had one, but guess what, the LINK did not work or was taken down, so I could not see this verification this author claimed he had?

No one believed it at the time his book was written, no one believed it when the author tried to bring it up again after Kennedy had died, and no one believes him now either.... not so much that they think the author made this up, but they dont believe the document of conversation as being true or accurate and perhaps propaganda on the USSR's part. the Russians have since reclassified the documents so no one can verify it in the present day...

Oh, ok. I remember reading about it in the newspapers back then. There were several other instances where senators have had their own treaty aspirations that differed from the current president at the time. I guess those were all fine. This one is different though, right?
