The way I view the circumstance, if she wasn't going to go the possibility of such a visit should not have been leaked as it would only serve to harm U.S Interests if she changed plans after the warning from China.
Once it has bee leaked that she was planning to visit there, how can she change plans without the expectation that it would do harm to Americas standing?
