Obama care hinges on young healthy people paying for insurance they most likely don't need so as to fund the benefits for the older population.

Well at least for CY 2014 that won't matter, as HHS has said we're on the "honor system" so those young people can just head out to an "exchange" lie about their income and have that health insurance they don't want paid for by other tax payers, should work out about as well as no income verification mortgages did.

The last CBO figures I saw were way far from saving us anything.

It's analogous to the Social Security problem we're seeing now.

It's expensive to responsibly raise a kid in this country. SS and medicare are ponzi schemes. The "greatest" generation punted their responsibility to fund their own retirement to their grandchildren. We have people working for thirty years and living for eighty.. That's 50years of dependency for 30years of work. The burden on responsible citizens to pay for lazy people is driving up the costs as well. People are being paid to sit on their asses. People are faking disabilities to sit in their asses. Democrats are encouraging this behavior to gain power.
