Setting further aside that 2016 pretty conclusively demonstrated a misogynistic streak so broad and deep as to, for the time being, preclude a female president. Setting further aside that racists and misogynists would be coalescing to prevent a black woman being one more aneurysm away from the presidency.

On the other hand, Joe does seem to have some problems with Latinos and younger voters as well as the core of the Bernie crowd. I'd expect his VP choice to address that.
