Florida high school students stage second amendment support walkout

You want to give us a list of folks who contribute to the NRA?
Why is it any less acceptable for a gun control group to have big $ support when it is perfectly alright with you for the NRA to have it and use it to influence legislation. Well, you're finally going to have a little pushback, is all.

The NRA gets donations from it's 5.5 million members and supporters, it's no different than trade unions, except the NRA can't lawfully extort money form it's members the way unions are allowed to do. I stopped supporting AARP when they supported commiecare, they all try to influence legislation. The NRA is a very small player in this regards.

.
The NRA is making tons of money off of making you afraid afraid afraid that all your precious guns will be taken away....any....day....now.

It's funny how the faux ex-military member doesn't think guns are effective at providing self defense and we should just let the criminals have them, not honest citizens
Psh you’re not even American so I don’t know why you feel like you have a say here

Wait, huh?

Since when did citizenship matter to a progressive?
He likes to talk about things that don't matter to him.

Actually, he's just full of piss and vinegar.

Police legally seizing guns under 'red flag' laws

Washington is one of six states with high risk or red flag laws. But in the wake of the Parkland school shooting, the Brady Campaign says at least 30 states are considering them.

"We don't want to take your guns away......we just don't want you to ever have them in the FIRST PLACE"
Sorry, bud, but taking guns from homicidal maniacs under the watchful eye of a judge with the opportunity to challenge it in court is about as fair a gun safety program that is being proposed out there. That you believe what you said just shows that you don't know what it is about.

Really? That is what the NRA proposed! You didn't know that did you?

IDs are not a poll tax

Yes, they are. Do you have to pay to get an ID? Yes, either by paying to get to the office, by having to pay to get copies of other documents, or by having to pay a fee for the ID itself. Your Jim Crow bullshit doesn't fly, but at least you're admitting that the goal is to suppress the vote by requiring IDs.

BTW - more Trump associates have been indicted than there were instances of voter fraud throughout the entire 2016 primaries and election.

The NRA isn't working to undermine anyone else's rights or take away their property.

Sorry, Pete, but things have gone too far. Gun owners have got to realize that their freedoms are allowing murderous folk to own guns, too. It has to be dealt with; we can't ignore it any longer. The 2nd is not going to go away, but the way I see it, I have rights too, and so do the kids who have to walk to school each morning in certain neighborhoods of Chicago. Why is our safety so completely unimportant?

How many of those Chicago kids were shot with a legally owned weapon, much less an AR-15?

the NRA isn't hiding behind high school students to do it.
Not one single person in D.C. at the March was hiding. No one who has spoken on the issue since was hiding. No one is hiding. They let the kids tell the story on the stage during the March. The people supporting gun control are not in the least afraid to say so.
yea.

they're using the kids to push their narrative. i call that hiding cause they make no headway on their own so they *use* these kids to keep pushing how they feel about it.

if you're fine with it, great. i'd rather both sides quit being stubborn and find a middle ground. but the calls to ban semi automatic weapons and so forth are far from "common sense" approaches.
How about just banning military-style semiautomatic rifles like the AR? And a whole lot of other policy changes like tightening background checks and investing in research into what is causing such a lot of gun violence and what to do about it.
We gotta slow this train down.

When are you going to get it through your pointy little head, hands and feet kill more people than all rifles combined. Your bias is causing you to ignore more serious problems. Rifles have been used in mass shooting 8 times in 19 years and they weren't all in schools. 5+ million semi auto rifles have been in private hands during that time. The odd of one being used on any given day for a mass shooting are something like 4+ trillion to one.

They didn't even make their own signs. Total sham of a protest.

Yes, I agree the 200,000 who marched on Washington were a sham. Paid for by billionaires who want to disarm the PEOPLE of the USA so they can finally control them and make them the peasants they want them to be.
Nope those people made sure to get out their on their own. Several of my co-workers went, and no billionaire even had to pay them! It's your imagination, you poor, frightened creep :itsok:

She is likely too dumb to know that most of the big time donors to the Hogg cause are surrounded by paid armed bodyguards 24/7. Libs have a way of ignoring that as a talking point.

Hands and feet can't kill 50 people at a country western concert and injure hundreds of others. I don't know where you get that only 8 mass shootings in 19 years have involved rifles, but that number sounds low to me.

When are you going to get it through your pointy little head, hands and feet kill more people than all rifles combined.

But you would agree that a rifle makes killing someone a lot easier, right?

Rifles have been used in mass shooting 8 times in 19 years and they weren't all in schools.

One time is enough for me. The simple fact that this even happened once should be enough for you to agree that it needs to be banned completely. And if you don't think that way, then you're a monster.

5+ million semi auto rifles have been in private hands during that time. The odd of one being used on any given day for a mass shooting are something like 4+ trillion to one..

The odds aren't that remote, and it's more likely that you'll wind up a victim of a mass shooting from one of those rifles than you will ever use the rifle in self-defense.

The PROBLEM is you fugnuts don't really want to simply stop a few crazies....you want to revoke the 2nd.
Your kind won't stop until every last gun right has been revoked.....then you can get your beloved Dictator.

These laws will be eventually used against ANYONE who people like YOU deem "a threat".
Which is ALL gun owners.

They don't allow citizens to own guns in China.....DICTATOR
They don't allow citizens to own guns in Russia.....DICTATOR
They don't allow citizens to own guns in Venezuela.....DICTATOR
They don't allow citizens to own guns in North Korea.....DICTATOR

Why is our safety so completely unimportant?

But what we choose to ignore is more interesting isn't it.

That most, if not all of the school children that turned into these monsters had been bullied severely by the very student bodies that staged these walk outs. And because of 24/7/365 bullying that is possible now because of social media, these were made outcast without a chance to recover.

We also choose to ignore that most, if not all of these children that became monsters were on mood altering PRESCRIPTION drugs. All of which have warnings affixed to them warning of suicidal thoughts and anti social behavior sas side effects!

Bullying in combination with the drugs are the most likely cause of these shootings. And, at least in the case of the drugs, 100% Doctor and Parent APPROVED.

You can ban AR style rifles until the cows come home, but until you cure the others? You got nothing. Any semi automatic pistol will do the same, if not more killing, and are MUCH less expensive and easier to carry concealed.

But that's exactly what the left wants, they don't want the killings to stop, they want AR style rifles banned now, then when it fails to stop, go after the handgun.

They don't care that even more blood will be shed, after all, the job will get done BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. And that's all that matters.

If that was the case, you'd see LGBT, minority, and female mass shooters.

But they're almost all exclusively white boys.

So it's not about the bullying, it's about something else...THE GUNS

It is the case:

On this everyone agrees: The numbers are big. The number of children who have been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder—overwhelmingly boys—in the United States has climbed at an astonishing rate over a relatively short period of time. The Centers for Disease Control first attempted to tally ADHD cases in 1997 and found that about 3 percent of American schoolchildren had received the diagnosis, a number that seemed roughly in line with past estimates. But after that year, the number of diagnosed cases began to increase by at least 3 percent every year. Then, between 2003 and 2007, cases increased at a rate of 5.5 percent each year. In 2013, the CDC released data revealing that 11 percent of American schoolchildren had been diagnosed with ADHD, which amounts to 6.4 million children between the ages of four and seventeen—a 16 percent increase since 2007 and a 42 percent increase since 2003. Boys are more than twice as likely to be diagnosed as girls—15.1 percent to 6.7 percent. By high school, even more boys are diagnosed—nearly one in five.

from the link: The Drugging of the American Boy

And the ways that boys differ from girls when it comes to suicide?

Differences in Suicide Methods Between Men and Women
One of the most important reasons for the difference between suicide attempts and successful suicides between men and women is the method of suicide used. Men tend to choose violent (more lethal) suicide methods, such as firearms, hanging, and asphyxiation, whereas women are more likely to overdose on medications or drugs.

From the link: Are There Gender Differences in Suicide?

And about the LBGT, we had a mass murder within the last week BY LBGT. Drove a car full of children off a cliff. See my reference to car vs. gun?

You medicate at a far greater rate the male population, a more violent population, with DRUGS that induce these behaviors and you expect what????

Fucking libs would object to having to dip one's finger in purple ink prior to voting. That's free to the voter.

Liberalism's survival depends heavily on illegal voting. That is the sole reason that libs oppose voter ID.
