Gosnell... Abortion Atrocities

bg042413dAPR20130424072349.jpg

great summary!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosnell killed ONE person.

Guns kill 30,000 Americans every year.
Correction: PEOPLE with guns kill people all over the world.

Abortion snuffs the life out of MILLIONS!

Correction-

Guns make it easy for people to kill people compared to knives or rocks.
Automobiles and alcohol seem to make it even easier to kill people.

Abortion doesn't kill anyone, since Fetuses aren't people.
Late term and partial birth abortions (like Gosnell's snipping of the spinal cord as the child's body exits the vagina) are clearly instances of MURDER!

That's an OPINION.

That isn't a fact.

The reality is, women are going to get opinions no matter what your opinion is.

And the only womb you have a say over is your own... if you have one.

Equally it is opinion that fetuses are not people. They are alive, feel pain...just not breathing on their own until born.

I am not against abortion. The decision should be made EARLY...like right after the pregnancy is diagnosed. The abortion should be carried out EARLY...like right after the decision is made. Late term abortions should be illegal except in cases where the mother's life is endangered.

I agree, it should be done early.

Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to do it early. Not everyone can do it early when the fetus has a disease like Down Syndrome or Brittle Bone disease or something else that requires a termination of an unviable fetus.

Come on thanks to your buddy in the WH abortions are practically free today. As far as "diseases" are concerned, have you ever hear of Amniocentesis.

Amniocentesis is traditionally performed after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Some doctors will perform amniocentesis earlier, but it is not typically recommended because the risk before 15 weeks is thought to be increased. The risk of clubfoot also only applies to amniocentesis performed earlier than 15 weeks gestation. After 15 weeks, there is a risk of miscarriage with amniocentesis that was traditionally thought to be around 1 in 200 (0.5%), but the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology have recently reported that the risk may be closer to 1 in 300 (0.3%) to 1 in 500 (0.2%). Amniocentesis cannot detect all birth defects or problems with pregnancies. It is usually only performed to detect chromosome conditions like Down syndrome or sometimes for other genetic conditions. Amnio is usually done for couples with specific risk factors such as mother's age over 35 years, abnormal blood test results, abnormal ultrasound, or family history of certain genetic conditions. However, if you don't have any of these risk factors but are still interested in amniocentesis, you should talk to your doctor more about amniocentesis and other screening options that are available during pregnancy.

FYI, there is an alternative to amniocentesis that can be performed earlier in pregnancy called CVS. CVS has a somewhat higher risk of miscarriage (possibly as high as 1%), but can be performed as early as 10 weeks of pregnancy. Again, you should talk to your doctor more about this if it's something you think you are interested in.

Then there's always the "Pill" that Fluke wants for free, rubbers, IUD, pessaries, and crocodile dung, etc.

You do know that government doesn't pay for abortions in most states, right?

Just checking here, because you seem a little fact-challenged.

– “Are you human?” Assistant District Attorney Ed Cameron asked Kermit Gosnell during closing arguments in the abortionist’s trial on Monday.
Cameron noted that during the six-week trial, “Mr. McMahon (the defense attorney) kept asking the witnesses, are you human?” That question really should be asked of Gosnell, Cameron said, turning to look directly at the defendant: “Are you human?” he asked.

Gosnell stared right back and laughed.

“To med these women up, to stick scissors in babies necks -- he’s the one in this case that doesn’t deserve to be called human,” Cameron said.

The trial of Gosnell entered its final phase on Monday, after lengthy closing arguments from defense attorney Jack McMahon and from prosecutor Cameron. Gosnell is charged with four counts of first-degree murder, for allegedly killing babies born alive during abortions by snipping their spinal cords with surgical scissors.

Cameron ended his closing argument with a plea to the jury to reach a guilty verdict. He quoted Steve Massof, an unlicensed medical graduate who worked at Gosnell’s clinic, the Women’s Medical Society in West Philadelphia:

“I felt like a fireman in hell,” Massof testified about the time he spent doing abortions late at night before Gosnell would arrive. “It was raining fetuses.”

“[Gosnell’s] the captain of that hell,” Cameron told the court. “It’s time for us to extinguish the hell he created.”

Cameron asked the jurors to “use their common sense” in determining whether the babies were born alive. Gosnell’s defense spent the morning arguing there was reasonable doubt that the four babies alleged to have been murdered were born alive.

“Why do you think there’s a hole in its head?” Cameron said. “It was because that it was an added step to make sure that baby was dead.”

Cameron recalled clinic janitor Jim Johnson’s testimony that the clinic's toilet was constantly clogged up. “You all know what that’s from, that’s from babies in the toilet,” he said.

How many abortions would you have to be doing to have it "rain" fetuses?

The whole problem with this case is the immense hyperbole it's built on. If the Jury doesn't see through this, the appeals courts will.

'Raining fetuses' is just emotional propaganda. The jury doesn't need to be swayed by their emotions, just the facts, and no fetus is going to come from the sky, is it?

The guy was describing the horror that was the Gosnell clinic even you can understand that.... Oh wait you've been defending this piece of shit all over the board:cuckoo:

Most humans have souls...Gosnell has no soul.

Oh he has a soul, and he'd better get saved soon or he'll be in a very bad place for eternity.

There's a difference between "Describing" and "Hyperbole".

Hyperbole is making up complete bullshit because an ACCURATE description doesn't make your point.

An accurate description is he performed a couple abortions a day.

Why not just say that? Oh, that's right, because most sensible people support a woman's right to choose.

The problem is that this whole case has been built on hyperbole. They claim HUNDREDS of babies were killed. They only have four that even meet the criteria if you are really imaginitive.

And the thing is, they HAD a solid, lock down case of negligent homicide of a real person. They didn't need to do this shit.
