P.S. The Conservatives and moderates should split--yes this pretty much give the Dems a free hand for the next couple of election cycles, but it does not help the left in the long run.

Remember--their are moderates in the Democrat party that complain about their "nuts". With the right leaning mderates abandoning the right wing, they most likely are going to merge with a disenfranchised left-moderates out of the Democrat party.

Now do you see what will happen--the far left and far right will have to compete for marginally left/right voters to gain power. The moderates will become the "Big party" in a generation.

So I say again--SPLIT--it will do America good in the long run.
