While visiting my sister in L.A. this was the scene 20 years ago. Poor Hispanics filled the room and there was even a drug addict crying to see a doctor just so he could get a new prescription for Oxycontin....or whatever the favorite fix of the day was.
It's probably twice as bad today.
Pretty soon this will be coming to your home town.
You'll be walking thru Walmart and not understand a word anyone's saying.
Doctor's visits will become an adventure.

I lived decades in CA. You describe 2018 or even 2002 in most areas. However, the wealthy pockets (CEOs & Politicians) may still have fencing and cleaner E-Rooms for themselves. Los Altos, Atherton. I am not sure how the keep their wall up.
