If Trump is such a bad candidate

Because both parties are a lie, they are a fiction designed to keep the middle class asleep by convincing them they have a say in it. There is one party, the political class, and Trump ain't part of them.
Even the Manhattan uppercrust shunned him, until Gloria Vanderbilt got him in with "the cool kids".....But they never really accepted the ostentatious riff-raff from Queens.

why do both parties fear him?

I don't think Republicans fear Trump. They fear his base and what they will do to Republicans if they dump Trump.

Democrats fear what will happen when, not if, he loses again. His cult is ever more unhinged and violent.

What I find most interesting is the MAGA-verse belief that if they did overthrow the government and magically make Trump President, that the rest of the world would simply accept his regime as the legitimate US government. My guess is that they would not. He was barely tolerated when he was legally elected.

I can appreciate your point of view, but why do you think your leadership and the state-controlled media doesn't agree with you on this?

You would think that they would be looking to shoot down other would-be GOP candidates like Cheney or Hogan or Romney, to pave the wave for a Trump 2024 Campaign that you think would be so easy.

But instead, they are still trying to tear down the Trumpster.
Cheney and Romney are RINOs. I am not familiar with Hogan.

RINOs are like lite beer, they are watered down Democrats.

Electing a RINO would lead to bad consequences. For example it would likely mean some form of draconian gun legislation would become law as it would have enough support to pass from the Republicans who support their RINO President because he is a Republican.

The Republican Party needs another fighter like Trump to run But Trump might not be the candidate in 2024. Someone who is not always trying to appease the liberal media, someone who will fight to preserve the Bill of Rights. Someone who will keep our nation out of dirty little wars that profit the military-industrial complex but kill our young people. Someone who will make an honest attempt to clean up in corruption in the Swamp. Someone who will fight to insure the rule of law applies to both liberals and conservatives.

It depends what you mean by a "good candidate".
You could mean the ability to attract votes, or you could mean the ability to run the country well.
People fear Trump because he doesn't have a freaking clue what he's doing as a leader, as a ruler. He just makes shit up, changes his mind all the time, destroys things that exist for a reason, and he doesn't care, as long as he can say he did the best thing, no matter how much a shit show it was.

Gosh. Sounds like xiden, but without the treason and corruption.

So in other words you (like all leftists) are FOS. There was no possible way to overturn an election.

Uh-huh. Trumpyberra was just pranking Pence when he pressured him into committing an unconstitutional act and invent a heretofore unknown constitutional power of the VP, [President of the Senate], of being able to reject a valid and certified results of states instead of counting it.

And did Pence try to do that?
