Listening to the trailer for this documentary, I am reminded how more and more every day that passes Apartheid Israel looks like Apartheid South Africa. The documentary shows images of identical abuses and displays them side by side to one another. And I listen to the description of the Palestinian struggle, a people resisting decades of colonialism and expulsion and occupation and apartheid. Sherri

Apartheid in South Africa was a reviled system where white Colonialists controlled an African black majority and the Colonialists were in power from 1948 to 1994. This decades long crime against humanity called Apartheid finally crumbled under internal resistance and international sanctions. This is how Israeli Apartheid is going to come to an end, too! I can only suppose that prancing about claiming to be a 'person of conscience' is an expression of certain people's supremacist idology. It's ever so much easier than actually DOING anything constructive, and oh! the joys of 'righteous indignation' in dehumanizing and demonizing that 'enemy' : ))

I don't think that Frau Sherri and her like-minded realize that people of conscience would be rallying to have all religions respected in this world so that people could practice their beliefs in peace. Apparently, Frau Sherri and friends are not concerned with how many people are being killed for their beliefs. They are just too busy castigating the Jews and Israel -- Israel a country where people can follow whatever beliefs they choose to. I think anyone with brains, Marg, realizes that this is going on only because the Jews are involved, and the people participating in this nonsense surely don't care about those in the world who are truly suffering. Meanwhile, as they go about their Israel Apartheid nonsense, Israel still goes on with other nations having no problem with working with Israel.

Right now, one of the people who 'thanked' your post has been *CHEERING' that unborn babies in S. Israel are being miscarried due to the HAMAS WAR CRIME rocket attacks there......

I totally agree that some people are always ready to believe the worst of Jews - but this does not alter the fact that some of Israel's actions in the past 30 years (starting with Operation Peace for Galilee) are indefensible.

Pro-Israeli posters need to be more active in criticising Israel - just as pro-Palestinian posters need to be ore active in criticising Hamas.
