Most people responding to this thread are atheists or irreligious, so they obviously don't want to surrender their control.
Who is larger accusing people of that name them name the posters on this thread that you believe to be that and whatever you do don't include my name cuz I am neither of those things.

Atheist Minority? That is hilarious!

The overwhelming majority of people in this thread think your idea is terrible. Blame leftists and atheists if you want, but even Christian conservatives think a theocracy is a bad idea.
Well, he has been beating the no true Scotsman fallacy for dozens of pages now.

Apparently, disagreeing with him means you are irreligious or an atheist.

Which just exemplifies why the original premise would be such a massive, unforgivable evil.

I have been on this board long enough to know most of the people who responded to this thread. Just because they disagree with you on this does not mean they are atheist or irreligious.

A question.
If a Christian does have earthly political power who is he really serving? Remember this incident?

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.
Matthew 4:8-10

Notice that Jesus never disputed that 'all the kingdoms of the world' did indeed belong to Satan. Since there is a direct line of causes and effects from those governments then to the ones of today it stands to reason that they still belong to Satan, n'est-ce pas?

We know that we are from God and that the entire world lies under the power of the evil one. 1 John 5:19.

Wouldn't want to get caught up in this, would you?

But in the days of those kingdoms the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, and his kingdom shall not be delivered up to another people, and it shall break in pieces, and shall consume all these kingdoms, and itself shall stand for ever. Daniel 2:44

Think Mashmont added me to his iggy list, AKA The Hall of Fame

Well, he does try to convince me that I'm not an observant Jew. Yet knows nothing about Judaism.
I've asked you repeatedly which of my proposed laws would violate Judaism. But you won't answer, because you know none of them do.

Just be a man and backtrack on your original claim that you objected because you were an observant Jew. That's not why you object.

This is religious dogma, propaganda if you wish, it only applies to those who believe as such. Fortunately most Americans do not think like you do. And they realize that the Bible is mostly lies.

I don't think you understood what I posted. I'm trying to convince Mashmont and his fellow travelers that Christians holding earthly political power is a bad idea and contrary to what the Bible teaches, using their own bible to prove that. It's what I've been trying to do with all of Mashmont's threads. For my troubles I'm convinced that Mashmont has me on ignore.

Sorry about that then I agree with you. No religious group should have any power in our government. Secular governments serve the people, theocracy serve themselves.

Wrong. Christian government serves all. Atheist law serves the very few.

Religious groups having power in our government? Yes, bad for us. Even worse for the fate of their immortal souls.

You're not on ignore. It's just strawman nonsense. You're confusing my desire to have laws that don't violate Christian teaching with forcibly trying to covert people to Christianity.
How is it when we have so many atheist laws, you don't likewise accuse atheists of trying to forcibly convert others to atheism?

It was answered numerous times. As a Jew, I will never be allowed to be ruled by other's religious laws. As a Jew who follows the commandment to be "Ohr Goyim", a light unto the nations, I will always object to laws that restrict and subjugate others. For those reasons, I object to all your proposed laws. Because your very vague set of a few statements are all that there is.

I'm sure if your house is on fire they'll send a fire truck as fast as possible, Atheists or otherwise.

Nonsense? I'm proving from your bible that Christians have no business in earthly politics. If you think I'm wrong, prove it from your bible.

You're saying why you personally object. We know that, and we don't care. My question is Which of my proposed laws violates the Judaistic religion itself? You refuse to answer, because you know none of them do.

Are you going to run from the question for the fifth time?

We don't have a Christian government and hopefully we never will. And a Christian government would not serve all. You're already denouncing atheist on here already if you have the power you probably would murder them. That's the exact opposite of freedom.

My beliefs are Jewish beliefs. All Jews would object to a theocracy. Hell, look at the opposition the Ultra-Orthodox have in Israel when they propose their restrictive religious laws. What makes you think Jews would be OK under a restrictive Catholic theocracy.

You just don't like the answer.

For the sixth time you didn't answer. I don't care what you personally think or what any other person thinks. I want to know which of my proposed laws go againsts official Jewish teaching. Can we all predict you will dodge the question yet again?

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to formally declare America a Christian nation.

If some of the framers intended to separate Church and state (which is not 100% certain), then it’s time to correct that mistake. it’s time for a Constitutional Amendment to declare Christianity the official belief of the United States. Here’s why:

The intent of any such separation was to prevent any single denomination from dominating or punishing members of another through government. The idea was to be religion-neutral. Noble enough. But the framers made a few critical miscalculations: They incorrectly assumed:

1. That “good” laws and “Christian” laws could be separated. They can’t. There is 100% overlap. You can’t have laws that help the people without them being Christian laws.
2. That a belief vacuum is possible in our laws. It isn’t, because the opposite of religion isn’t nothing; it’s atheism.

That’s right. When you attempt to ban Christian laws, you only allow atheist laws.

Examples:
Forcing Christian groups to pay for abortions and birth control for their employees.
Forcing Christian florists, photographers, and bakers to participate in gay weddings.
Distributing condoms in government schools to teens and preteens, suggesting that sex among these immature and obviously unmarried students is morally acceptable.
Using taxpayer funds to pay for abortions abroad.
Banning the Ten Commandments from government buildings (while flying the rainbow flag).
Banning the Nativity Scenes from government buildings.
Government sanction of Kwanzaa celebrations (a made-up racist ‘holiday’).
Disallowing references to Christmas in the public schools.
Teaching Critical Race Theory (which divides people and promotes hate).
Allowing gay marriage.

This is why the left screeches so loudly about “keeping religion out of government”. It’s because they know their atheism gets free reign if it doesn’t have to compete against Christianity.

The solution is two part: First, BAN atheism and atheistic views from being promoted by all media outlets. We’ve had such decency laws before. Hollywood enacted such standards in 1934 (that have since been repealed, unfortunately). Get rid of all the immoral trash in the movies and TV. Disallow the leftwing media from promoting atheist Marxism and other atheist policies. Then, secondly promote a Constitutional Amendment to make Christianity the official belief of the land. Then we end the abortion debate, the race-baiting issue, and the anti-capitalist pro-socialist issue once and for all. The country would once again be following God’s plan, church attendance would rise again, couples would marry instead of cohabitating, the gay marriage ruling would be repealed, families would stay together and be stronger, children would grow up in two-parent homes, so there would be far less crime. And best of all, ALL Marixst atheist disinformation would be stifled, and our children would stop being poisoned by it.

Let’s do it NOW!!

While I will say that Christianity has done a lot of good for humanity, to proclaim by law that the US is a Christian nation would be taking a huge leap backwards, back to a time when heresy was a crime, a crime often punishable by death. Humanity is moving away from religion and people are beginning to seek their own spiritual council. That's a good thing, marking evolution. There's going to be growing pains as we evolve, some people will freak out at the loss of their security blanket, some people will be at a loss for lack of something to worship and latch on to anything to idolize, and some people will do just fine. Nothing to worry about, it will all be fine as long as enough of us are able to see things for what they are.
