Jon Stewart shames lawmakers for not showing up to 9/11 victims fund hearing

The report stated that this was the attendance at the time Stewart began, not for the full speech or hearing. There were coming and goings. I cannot say if he was there for the full speech. It is possible it is in error.
Watch: Jon Stewart calls out lawmakers over 9/11 victims' compensation fund in emotional House testimony
A spokesman for the subcommittee told Fox News all but two of its members attended today's hearing, with Reps Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and Guy Reschenthaler, R-Pa., those who were missing. The spokesman added that other empty seats seen could have been on account of members coming and going during the course of a hearing
Isn't this exactly what I just said? If you WATCH the video, their chairs are empty during Jon's speech. Naturally, his speech is NOT the full hearing.
That is all I was saying. This does not imply they missed the entire hearing. There WAS a bill being introduced at the same time, the reporter noted that. At the time of Jon's speech? THEY WERE NOT THERE.
I am not criticizing that though. They have to make choices. I am sure they would have been criticized just as much if they had missed the introduction of a bill.
