The O. P., who is presumably a Loon, has cited with barely concealed glee, a poll which shows Mrs. Clinton still leading every other Republican candidate. He knows, but decides its not worth the mention, that the polls were conducted before the barrage of Bribery charges issued forth from media outlets such as the New York Times and the Washington Post.

The facts laid out make up an indictable charge on suspicion that government favors were handed out, and government influence exerted, on foreign governments, in return for Cash. I didn't say these things are proven, nor have the articles, but the facts known are sufficient to cause reasonable people to infer circumstantially...that Bribery could have occurred. The repeated patterns are pretty damning.

We call this...what the O.P. was doing------"Whistling Past the Grave Yard". (I think the Pinheads call it Cognitive Dissonance.)

The O. P. hopes most Democrats are fools, and won't notice that their candidate is a possible Multiple Felon...and he has good evidence to believe they are fools, very reliable evidence indeed.

But he is harassed by doubts.

He will sweat the next round of polls more than most for having indulged himself with the mostly empty boast about outdated polls. We have a long memory on this board.

It appears that Jeb Bush could give Hillary a challenge at this point, and he has not even announced. Money says the GOP will not chose him. The Koch Brothers have put their money on Walker. When Walker is vetted, they may want their money back.....

I may and do agree with the sentiment but here's the reality:

The Ds need either a gimmick or a split opposition to win with a non-incumbent because of their traditional incompetence.

There is no Perot on the horizon, there is no meltdown and without gimmick such as first Black president they will lose.

A first woman president is likely their only chance.

Of all possible women D candidates Hillary does the least amount of acting out on the compared to the last three D nominees, has relatively little baggage v. Feinstein or Pelosi much less the previous three D nominees and is not too scary.
