MTG back on Twitter....Damn that Musk!

It's a tough needle to thread. Money is made through advertisers....

Some advertisers may not want to sit next to fake news, or opinionated and dangerous lying crap....typical free speech stuff?

They could steer the twitter moderation eventually?

But, maybe there will be a whole new breed of advertisers where money could be made? Like political PACs, and campaigns, who would love and take advantage of the wild, wild west, style?
Market forces have always been able to control themselves very neatly. We only get a severe imbalance when someone thinks they can intervene and create more equity that is actually merited by the situation. It's not fair that some people are 7 ft tall and some people are 5 ft tall. But you simply cannot redistribute height.

If they want to make money decisions based on PC wokeness, then advertisers deserve to go broke and die.

:rofl::rofl:

Twitter is relatively small compared to other social media, it has room to grow, and find their own niche.

It likely will be supported by campaigns and political groups and PACs, who would love the anything goes, no holds barred platform!

When you're selling a product that should be the only thing you're doing... selling the product. Why sell something at all if you're going to put limits on who can buy it? Why sell something at all to the public when you're telling them they have to change and become somebody else in order to make the purchase? In the final analysis it's not about sales it's about control freakism and insisting on the right to try to change the thoughts and actions of others. Any business that takes that up as a pursuit will ultimately fail. Take Disney for instance.

Choosing not to advertise on a huge platform that reaches lots of potential customers solely because muh mean people, is horrible business practice.

It depends. If that platform does not meet the standards of the company then is it a bad business practice?

Porn Hub reaches a lot of people yet I bet there are not a lot of Chick-fil-a ads on it.

Why not?

Porn watchers gotta eat, same as worms.

MTG will show herself to the public on Twitter and that's probably a good thing. Everyone will be able to see how stupid she is.
And yet, the Demo rats have an uncanny knack for blowing an overwhelming lead.

Because they do STUPID stuff like threaten children.

You mean like beer and cigs?

Yeah, Disney is a day or two away from bankruptcy! :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301:
Disney can afford to make a few expensive mistakes. They built their brand on smart sales....now they're being stupid and they just dropped 50B in value....sure...they can do that five or six times maybe ...maybe.

Their stock dropped in value, the value of the Company and all it owns did not drop 50B

A few months ago I was at a loss to figure out where the turning point would be with the massive push from the left to take the country into the wilderness of lurid and pointless progressiveness. I mean you could see signs here and there that people were beginning to fight back but I knew there would need to be some Earth shattering event upon which to create a pivot that would reach across the entire culture. I think Musk's acquisition of Twitter might actually be that event.

Leading a charge from the conservative right that reminds me of a scene from Lord of the rings.

I hope she's pissing off ever bedwetter Dim in America.
