Barr that a four-page memo to Congress describing the principal conclusions of the investigation into President Trump “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of Mueller’s work, according to a copy of the letter reviewed Tuesday by The Washington Post.

At the time the letter was sent on March 27, Barr had announced that Mueller had not found a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russian officials seeking to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. Barr also said Mueller had not reached a conclusion about whether Trump had tried to obstruct justice, but Barr reviewed the evidence and found it insufficient to support such a charge.

Days after Barr’s announcement, Mueller wrote a previously unknown private letter to the Justice Department, which revealed a degree of dissatisfaction with the public discussion of Mueller’s work that shocked senior Justice Department officials, according to people familiar with the discussions.

Barr allowed it. Secondly the rumor of a phone call between the two with someone else knowing the content is highly unlikely unless, once again ... Barr revealed it.
Finally Mueller's job is not to infer anything.
It was to find court worthy proof of Collusion....he did not find it. I seriously doubt that any of WAPOSHIT is even remotely true. What?....Mueller wanted Barr to bail him out and say that even though there's no proof he was going to press charges anyway? Pahleese grow up!

If that's what you hope is going to happen, you will be disappointed. Mueller is motivated by nothing other than protecting the Constitution and the institutions it creates and sustains, I strongly believe. That includes the office of the president, and also the DoJ, even while he might despise the current office holders. So, he might explain his report in public testimony, but he will not be an attack dog. No way, no how.

He doesn't have to be an attack dog. Him stating the facts will suffice.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I was listening to liberal talk radio today and even the guest he had on was saying we shouldn't read too much into this.

He was saying that Mueller never characterized anything barr said as false, he just didnt like some of the context of his summary.

I guess the question that needs to be asked of Mueller is this: is the reason why he wouldn't write his report as an indictment because of doj policy, or because he couldn't find anything to indict on.

That would clear up a lot of things.

Really, I've been on Trump watch since he got the nomination. There is no doubt in my mind that Trump obstructed not only justice, but the truth, justice and the American Jurisprudence.

Notice the stark difference between, "lock her up" and "crooked Hilary" and the methodical and (yes) lengthy investigation conducted by Mueller and his team without any hint of rally's and chanting "lock him up". How many attorney's have claimed under oath that their client, aka is, "a racist, con man, cheat", and "even worse".

barr refused to recuse himself from the Mueller investigation even when the ethics people in the DOJ advised him to reuse.

The only way barr is going to leave his position as AG is if he's impeached or if trump loses the election next year.
