No One Has a Right to Health Care

If everyone has a right to healthcare, who is supposed to provide this right?

Those wo can afford it will contribute the best they can. Those who can't will receive assistance from We the People

Will contribute, or forced to? Big difference.

If you think it's a right for people to have healthcare, charity starts at home.

I see you post during working hours. You must have a lot of time on your hands. Why don't you do volunteer work at your local hospital? If you think it's a right for people to have healthcare, do your part in providing that care.

Are you forced to belong to our society?
You can leave any time you wish

However, I predict the society you join will do even more for healthcare

Ahh.. yes.. Obey or leave. The essence of the authoritarian mindset.
The issue is "forced"
Nobody is "forced" to be an American

But if you accept being an American, you accept the decisions of We the People

The issue is LIBERTY

Nobody is "forced" to be American.

But if you accept being an American, you accept the Constitution (1787)

Under the Constitution you can be helped VOLUNTARILY or

you can steal or manipulate the government to steal for you

It will be up to taxpayers and or producers to stand their ground at any time and use VIOLENCE to terminate your tendencies.

In the declaration of independence, it says we have certain God-given, unalienable, rights.

Do you reject that premise?

If not, tell us what those rights are.

What you posted is an insult to Liberty

Liberty gives you the same right to vote as everyone else. Just because most Americans vote against your twisted ideas is not an affront on your Liberty

1. They do not mandate how the States or local school boards operate. You are simply echoing propaganda. See the link here:

Policy - ED.gov

2. Wrong again. Once again you've taken the word of conservatives rather than the law itself:

General Welfare

What Is the U.S. Department of Education?

The U.S. Department of Education is the agency of the federal government that establishes policy for, administers and coordinates most federal assistance to education. It assists the president in executing his education policies for the nation and in implementing laws enacted by Congress. The Department's mission is to serve America's students-to promote student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access.

It sets the policies the State must follow. In effect it runs education for the country.

A general welfare clause is a section that appeared in many constitutions, as well as in some charters and statutes, which provides that the governing body empowered by the document may enact laws to promote the general welfare of the people, sometimes worded as the public welfare.

Madison had it right.

According to James Madison, the clause authorized Congress to spend money, but only to carry out the powers and duties specifically enumerated in the subsequent clauses of Article I, Section 8, and elsewhere in the Constitution, not to meet the seemingly infinite needs of the general welfare

Promote. Not provide.
Provide can promote

Helping the less fortunate promotes the General Welfare of the whole country

HELPING THE GENERAL WELFARE

Becoming and stay gainfully employed;

Be a good guardian of the constitution - don,t ask the berners and the socialists to ignore its provisos

.get ready to protect the constituion using deadly force if necessary in order to prevent anyone from perpetrating treason against the Constitution

"Become and stay gainfully employed"?

Do you ever think about a talking point like this?

Here's my take on this talking point:
  • Unions unite people and aid in securing gainful employment
    • Conservatives oppose unions
  • Minimum wage prevents exploitation of labor
    • Conservatives oppose a living wage
  • Equal Pay, for equal work
    • Conservatives opposed the Equal Rights Act
  • Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, and OSHA protect employees now and in the future
    • Conservatives oppose each and everyone of them
  • Affirmative Action & Job Corp allow for equal opportunity
    • Conservatives are opposed to both.

* Unions are mostly responsible for chasing the jobs out of this country not to mention inflation.
Conservatives want to see the job loss stopped.

* Minimum wage also creates inflation and mostly applies to those not supporting themselves or their families.
Conservatives believe we don't need to screw up the rest of the country over 3% of our workforce.

*Equal pay for equal work was passed in 1963.
Conservatives realize this is nothing more than politics by the left.

*Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are broke or will be soon.
Conservatives realize failure when they see it.

*Affirmative action is nothing more than reverse discrimination.
Liberals are for discrimination and Republicans are against it.

Your comments are so out of touch with reality as to suggest a mental disorder.

Still no answer - socialist entitlement programs should be an opt it or an opt out choice... If these programs are so good why not a choice??

I can't imagine any American wanting to deny access to urgent healthcare just because they can't afford it

Still no answer - socialist entitlement programs should be an opt it or an opt out choice... If these programs are so good why not a choice??

Just because you say they "should" doesn't make it so.

No answer?

My answer is: Just because you say they "should" doesn't make it so. No word over two syllables. Need me to break it down further?

Tell me what options a newborn with a heart defect has.

I suspect your answer is "Not my baby, not my problem."

Ok, I will simplify.
Why should everyone be forced into something when the majority of the country want nothing to do with said thing??

Because you can't run a country on the basis of a third-grader's popularity contest.

And you're not ever going to answer any of my questions, are you?

You take the baby to the hospital and they will care for it. No Health care program needed.

But if you accept being an American, you accept the decisions of We the People

The Constitution in no way requires unlimited obedience to majority rule. Indeed, it flat out denies it. I can't imagine what kind of authoritarian zealot would claim otherwise.

It would be so easy - opt in or opt out.

The ones who want to sign up for the programs done, the ones that don't - don't.
Everyone is...
