This country isn't marching toward socialism. I've been hearing this my whole life. Yes young people are idealistic but eventually they figure out it's best to serve their sentence(work their whole life) and hope to be able to save enough to maybe retire one day so one can tell the boss to shove it....it's what all the rest of us old fogies had done.
