President Barak Obama: The 'Dumbest President in US History' (IQ)

I disagree with your opinion on the article.

??? That its claims are not supported by the science it alleges to be reporting on? That's not opinion, that's fact. The article links to the paper. Read it yourself.
Thats the whole point of proving something is false. The established "science" is of course going to try and refute it. They dont want to look silly. Sorta like the fact that Aristotle and Socrates were prosecuted in Greece because they brought foreign teachings from the Egyptians to Greece.

Okay, now you're really out in la-la land. Let me say this one more time: The article is not an accurate report of the paper's findings. The news article claims that the researchers claimed things they didn't claim, found things they didn't find, etc. Instead of presenting the findings of the researchers, the article puts words into their mouths.

I thought you said you read the paper? The paper says the same thing.

"Finally, we confirm the independence of these components of intelligence by dissociating them using questionnaire variables. We propose that intelligence is an emergent property of anatomically distinct cognitive systems, each of which has its own capacity.".

1) You need to keep reading. Don't stop at the introduction.

2) That does not amount to IQ tests being unable to measure intelligence.

It's becoming increasingly clear that you don't actually know what you are talking about, and are just guessing as to the meaning of the study's findings. So let's fill you in. The "g" factor refers to a general intelligence ability, and goes back some 100 years. The development of the theory stemmed from the observable fact that individuals who perform well in one cognitive arena tend to perform comparably well in another cognitive arena. The idea was that a general intelligence capacity was fueling the strong performance in both arenas. This idea has itself been largely abandoned, as understanding of g has been refined to something similar in appearance but different in working and effect.

Nowadays, the theories tend to treat g as more of a combination of ability across separate cognitive arenas, which is why IQ scores are composites. A person might be 85th percentile in one area, but only 40th percentile in another area. The fields assessed are scored independently of one another, and later translated into an overall ranking. That humans have distinct sets of cognitive abilities is already well known. As the paper says, the researchers confirm the independence of those components.

What is interesting about this study, and the researchers' conclusions, is that they suggest that g has more to do with a person's ability to access these separate abilities for a single task.

Hmmmm sounds like what the lefties do to Carson all the time.

Mr. Obama has said a lot of unsmart things: there are 57 states; Canada has a president; "Austrian" is a language; America is "20 centuries" old; Arabic is spoken in Afghanistan. He's called the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) the Maldives, and declared it would be "unprecedented" for the Supreme Court to invalidate a law passed by Congress.

President Obama's stimulus bill didn't stimulate. His subsidies to "green" firms have produced neither the jobs nor the energy he promised. Unemployment on his watch peaked at 10 percent, one of the highest rates since the Great Depression. Deficits are out of control.

"The man who promised everything is delivering nothing," wrote Noemie Emery in the Weekly Standard. "Journalists who wept when he won the election now grind their teeth in despair. ... The gap between sizzle and steak never seemed so large."

"I spent some time with the highest tenured faculty member at Chicago Law a few months back," Mr. Ross wrote in March 2010. "According to my professor friend, [Obama] had the lowest intellectual capacity in the building. ... The other professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified,"

Mr. Obama's been governing like someone with a resume too thin for a president. He's "incompetent," an "amateur," former President Bill Clinton told Hillary Clinton at a private gathering with friends, according to a new book by Ed Klein. The Clintons have vehemently denied his account.

Even Ms. Daum noticed "the gulf between the brilliant young man who wanted to change the world and the stymied president who can barely pass a piece of legislation." Mr. Obama is just too smart to be a good president, she wrote.

Or not smart enough. "The presidency of Barack Obama is a case study in stupid does," said Bret Stephens of the Wall Street Journal.

"We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud"

Killed 150,000 people, 57 states never killed anyone

I have read many Liberals claiming that Donald Trump is NOT 'intelligent', certainly not enough to be President....so I did some digging. What I found is NOT going to make the Liberals happy!

:p

Mr. Trump has a 156 IQ at the minimum. The standard description of this level of intelligence is “Genius – Exceptional intellectual ability and capable of looking beyond known facts.” However, the percentile rating is more revealing than the raw score. A 156 IQ is at the 99.9905490555 percentile. That means that Donald Trump is smarter than 99.99 percent of the people on planet earth. Not only does Trump qualify for membership in Mensa but he could join the Triple Nine Society.

President Obama Scores 102 On IQ Test, Lowest In Presidential History

"As it turns out, the Republicans may have been right all along, and President Obama is not the smartest person in the room after all. Since Woodrow Wilson took office in 1913, all presidents have been given an IQ test at some point during their time as leader. Gerald Ford always held the record for lowest score, with a 111, which is considered just slightly above average. On the other end of the spectrum, George W. Bush scored a 132, which is considered ‘gifted.’ Two-Thirds of people who take the standardized IQ test score between 85-115.

The White House today spun President Obama’s 102 as a ‘solid' AVERAGE that is nothing to be ashamed of."

102....a solid 'average'!

Jimmy Carter thanks Obama for being the WORST President in US History now ... and Gerald Ford thanks Obama for being the DUMBEST President in US history now!

As much as I'd like to think the thug/traitor dumb. he did DUPE enough people in this country to put him in office to then have him turn around and SQUASH them with every Government agency being used as a weapon Against them. and that should scare the hell out of us all

lets hope and pray they learned a lesson as horrible as these seven years with one to go of him beating us down daily

Maybe... But once you are in you have to prove that you are capable of maintaining your grades. Affirmative action is no longer applied at that point.

Once you're in all you have to do is PASS, even if it's just squeaking by.....maybe THAT's why he sealed all of his college transcripts / records. :p

This can't be real.

How did he get into all of those schools if he's an idiot?
Affirmative Action

Not if most of your work is being done for you.

Obama cheats at everything. It's not much of a stretch to believe he cheated in school. Football players do it all of the time.

By his own admission Obama was experimenting with pot, pills, and coke...he was known as a heavy pot smoker....so it's not surprising / a stretch to think he didn't have very good grades because he was too 'pre-occupied' to study.

Obama didn’t do much.

He just reads from a teleprompter.

His organization does everything for him.

Starts two wars and then cuts taxes to pay for them

I think you miss the point. The point is there is no 1 test that can accurately measure intelligence. There are a whole hosts of reasons you can pinpoint using common sense. This paper just "scientifically" states it.
