Why are the three major religions continually used as justification for killing people. Its because each has a certain amount of power and each wants more of that power.

I always hear that argument which is crazy because the overwhelming majority of the soldiers who did the killing were devout Christians... you even say so yourself with the 3% comment.

So then sometimes to mess with the people making the argument I turn it around and blame white people for all those deaths since Nazi Germany and Stalin Russia were all white people; but for some reason they get pissed about that correlation and adamantly refuse it, and continue defending the atheism correlation which is pretty much the same thing. Go figure

For example, many of the deaths in Mao's China were due to rapid forced industrialization of a primarily agricultural society (Great Leap Forward). Actually Germany had become largely deChristianized before the Nazis took over. And the Soviets had terrorized many into abandoning Christianity. Of course there were few Christians in Asian Communist countries like Cambodia and China.
