The gop used reconciliation to pass a tax bill in 2017, and the general rule is one time per year. And they didn't pass one in 2018. The House wanted to make the individ tax cuts permanent, but McConnell wasn't going to force his senators to vote on that.

I guess passing some law requiring Trump's tax on remittances to Mexico just wasn't a legislative priority. LOL
