The only physical evidence of slander was that yearbook. If proven that it was a fraud, that whomever stands behind the yearbook as legitimate. Will be sued. And so they had to admit that the yearbook was a fraud, so that Senator Moore will not have any solid evidence against them. He cannot bring this matter up in court, because it was already has been established as a fraud. And so they had hurried up before he started the lawsuit. If they would of had done it after he had started the process, that they can be sued if proven to be a fraud. And so they had cleaned it up with a little twist to it.
