I disagree. Freedom is not popular. At all. The electorate doesn't even largely understand the concept anymore. It's tragic. We just saw Americans cheering for a president who signed legislation into law that was given to him by a derelict Congress which stated that the electorate could be put into cages arbitrarily without charge nor trial. They loved them for it.
And the list goes on and on. Americans are very quick to voluntarily relinquish civil liberties. It's why they want to keep us in perpetual fear. It's the only way to attack them.

Thanks for the questions and for the respectful tone. You’d be correct that I took issue with how the administration explained their actions over the past two weeks. I’m not saying the actions were wrong but in times when actions are taken that escalate chances of armed conflict I think of our troops and their families and think it important to demand clarity from our leaders. I cant imagine too many people were in the loop on the embassy plot, so it wouldnt be hard to narrow it down. Whoever fed them the intel was probably still being smuggled out of the country, so the US couldnt say it right away.Trump said today that there was a plot to blow up our Embassy in Iraq and that was the imminent threat. Why the hell didn’t they say that right away?!
