Teacher Demands Her Students Deny the Existence of God

You cant believe in an imaginary being AND call my argument laughable. You can do one or the other, but not both.

That comment itself is laughable because no one 'believes' in an imaginary being' you fucking retard.

Damnit, man go steal a brain, borrow or rent it. You are being too stupid for words.
Its a being no one has ever seen before, that only exists in your imagination. At least that is what the evidence suggests, unless you have some concrete proof of his existence, those are the facts.
The fact is this: Godboy cannot prove that God does not exist. He has no concrete proof of his BELIEF.
Its not up to me to disprove anything. The burden of proof is on you. Do you have evidence of his existence or not?
Why? I believe in deity, and what you think is immaterial. You can't disprove it, which makes you a faithful believer in atheism.

Why not send your kid to a professional and work with them at home?

A full time tutor? Not sure what you are suggesting, but most parents cant afford that.

I've got news for parents - if your kid is falling behind it's your fault, not the school. You are responsible

No, not always. We both worked with my son and got him to finish his homework and learn the lesson the day before so he was prepared for class. We did not know at the time that he had ADD until he reached the 3rd grade and started working with him at home.

With his ADD diagnosis we worked on a 401 plan I think it was called (long time ago) and discussed with the few teachers he had about how to accommodate Joshua's learning problems. He excelled with Home Schooling and we thought he had found out how to manage his issues, but it was a struggle the entire time he was in school. One semester he got F's in all his subjects because he simply neglected to turn in the homework that we had helped him to finish. I wooped his ass, took his toys and threw them in the trash and grounded him till his next report card. His grades came back up and we never had that problem again.

JB, you are not quite right on the above. Most failure in school results from lack of close parental involvement in their children's studies and duties.

Its not my job to disprove anything. The burden of proof is on you. Do you have proof of his existence or not?

It has been proven over and over moron. You just rhetorically nullify what has been proven.

That is why atheism is a fringe group and we have more people who believe in Big Foot and that the Moon Landings were faked than believe that there is no God, dumbass.

God has never been proven to exist, nor can be. It's impossible.

Oh, I'm sure they do....but I'm looking at SEVERAL adults and many student witnesses that say one thing
Provide evidence for this statement.
But keep on keeping on....light those torches, grab those pitchforks....go after your own kind. I'll get the popcorn.
Why do you keep saying this? You are an odd one. lol
If you'd been following this story from the beginning in the FOUR threads, you'd know what I was talking about.

That's where Faith comes in......I thought Faith was a key component of religion.......

It is not impossible to prove that God exists. But some people reject the proof because they dont want to believe.

You cant correct stupid willfulness.

Parents who cannot afford tutors or private school go to the default position of public school....that's what it was created for.....the poor who could not afford the tutors and private schools of the 1800s. If you hate public schools, go tutor or private school.....can't afford it? Then why did you have kids in the first place?

What you are talking about is Faith....not proof.

We can afford to have kids if they go to a public school. The home schooling worked great, why do you ignore it as an option? We had the best improvement on the kids learning ever anywhere.

I'm not ignoring it as an option...it is the default option. But if someone despises public school, why have kids if you can't afford tutors, homeschooling, or private school.....piss poor planning, eh?

"There is no God" is also an assertion. Neither one is fact. Someone can have either as an opinion. That's a fact.
And the religion of some kids teach that 'There is a God' is fact, and no teacher should be putting kids in a position to debate this in class.

Since when is being able to afford private schooling a prerequisite for having children?

My God I am so glad you folks are not setting the standards for child rearing.
