The sad truth is that his or this great experiment call America or some kind of "United State" there of, is leading the world to ruin, apparently as we are the leaders of the "free world". lol,. It is a problem.

Garden Grove in California became a cultural home for the Vietnamese after the Carter betrayed the South and they fled to escape the genocide the Communist were engaging in. Garden Grove had "Little Saigon" and became the home of the Vietnamese culture.

Fast forward to 2014 and the lament is that Little Saigon is crumbling, the third generation has lost interest in Vietnam, they are just Americans, they speak English and watch MTV.

What is unique here is that there was an influx from a foreign land in 1976-77, tens of thousands of people. But then it stopped. No more Vietnamese followed as the Communists made the country into one giant prison camp. In that situation, the children of the children simply assimilated into the major culture.

What makes Chinese and Mexican enclaves different is that millions of new immigrants arrive each year, renewing the separatism of the communities.

Close the borders and Chinatown will go the way of Little Saigon. Soon you'll hate Mexicans as nothing but white people.

Yep... pretty much... Most of those owners of Chinese businesses tend to love America. They're not out protesting the American government and most actually come here legally.

What are you babbling about? Marriage is not the business of the federal government. States are supposed to regulate marriage and that is defining marriage in most cases, not banning anything. Willie Horton was not about race... Mike Dukakis is white

So different rules on marriage across the various states is good multiculturalism, that's what you're saying.

The Balkanization of the country with each little sovereign state being able to make the rules for its own separate culture is fine with you,
