Bullshit.It's much the same situation the church was in when the second edition of the bible war written. The first edition couldn't be sold anymore. Now a new revised third edition is needed in which evolution is accepted by all the churches.
And that presents a huge contradiction that can't be so easily swept under a carpet this time.
A couple of our most adamant Catholics are trying to legitimize the creation myth being able to stand alongside Darwinian evolution but they need to turn to rhetoric as opposed to literal truth.
