Conservatives and Liberals: Before you go on attacking each other, there are 2 things you might consider:

1. Conservative media outlets such as The Daily Standard, Fox News, and The National Review as well as Liberal media outlets such as The Huffington Post, MSNBC, and Mother Jones both seek to drive up circulation and ratings by attacking the other side and telling their subscribers what they want to hear. These are all self perpetuating money machines that play on their subscribers anger and fear, and if any of them tell you they are "fair and balanced" I have a bridge I'll sell you....cheap! These outlets are there solely to make money, so consider this before you blindly swallow what they feed you. Partisan media outlets make massive amounts of money by driving a wedge between Conservatives and Liberals. So stop and think about this before you get the urge to lash out at the other side.

2. There is a massive amount of information vital to the political decisions you make that is both classified and top secret that our good government will never let us see. In short folks, none of us has all the facts, so no matter what side of the partisan fence you are on, just remember...the other side could be right.

240 years ago the founding fathers of our nation wrote: We The People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union....Please folks, don't let this "more perfect union", that has stood for nearly 2 1/2 centuries perish just because a bunch of media outlets want to profit off of our anger and fear.

All the media are all liars. I don't believe much of anything they say. Yet many hear it like it's from Gods mouth.

The media produce what sells. It's a business. We The People created the current political civil war and partisan stalemate. We aren't, and haven't been for a long time now - one nation. The divorce is long overdue.

A business now owned by 6 multinational corporations as opposed to 50 some odd companies back in the 1980s thanks to Clinton's deregulation of the FCC.

Still a business.

Reagan. In 1996? No.

Oh boy! I never thought of it like that! You mean to say that FOX News and MSNBC are just two sides of the same coin and don't differ in any way except that one is right and the other is left?

Whoa! Your blowin' my mind up.

Why does it come as a surprise that news outlets are in it for the money? You can gauge the concept of "fair and balanced" by the attempt to offer alternate opinions regarding political topics. Fox has Geraldo Rivera and Juan Williams and any number of left wing hosts and they are treated with respect. How many conservatives appear regularly on MSNBC or CNN or ABC or CBS or PBS or the Comedy channel? The short answer is zero. The left has an interesting source of left wing propaganda that the right wing doesn't. The Media Matters masthead claims to "monitor (only) conservative speech" and they do a thorough job of it. The amazing thing (thank you John McCain) is that MM is tax exempt. That's right, a political propaganda source that claims to be one sided is tax exempt. Not only does MM have a ton of full time employees but it has spies and lawyers and sleazy private investigators on the payroll. MM monitors every word spoken by conservatives (republicans) 24/7 and spins it and sends it to the left wing MSM and blogs like Huffington. Think about that before you condemn a single network like FOX.

So which of the facts is it that we are missing that is supposed to make white genocide preferable?

A noble effort, but partisans aren't interested in reason or humility, they're just trying to "beat" the "other side".

They can't do that if they allow their views to be moderated by significant exposure to contrary thought.

Party over country, 24/7.

Original media in this country was ALL ideologically driven

If anything, what we have today is more like how it was at the beginning than ever before, the big difference being the ease of access to the media

Having said that, the biggest issue I have is that 80% + of our media is on "team blue"

Hardly. There are real issues (that can be used as wedges to gain position and votes) but the issues are very real.
