The other hint that the jury was biased in that they even objected to a guy who OCCASIONALLY listened to a podcast by a conservative. IOW, they were looking for people so close-minded and far to the left that they never even listened to anything but lying liberal media exclusively. They got 11 diehard leftists, and one somewhat moderate. There was no conservative or Trump supporter on that jury.

The case should be overturned in the basis that the decided the woman was a liar when she accused Trump of rape. Thus, a liar’s testimony has no credibility and nothing she says can be trusted.

Trump being guilty for defending himself and telling the truth against Carroll is like trying to charge him for denying the now officially debunked 'Russian Collusion' scandal.


How can it be 'Battery' and 'Defamation' in a CIVIL law suit.

Carroll won an award after the judge told the jury to find Trump 'guilty' if they THOUGHT he might have just 'given her a peck on the cheek'.

It was never proven in a court of law that he did anything to her - no evidence found him criminally liable.

Based on the judge's instruction to find him 'guilty' in a civil suit if they thought he could have given her a kiss on the cheek - THINKING TRUMP COULD HAVE DONE 'X' is not the same as proving he did.

But the jury remains free to accept whatever portion it finds to be the truth and reject the rest.

And since Trump was caught lying, the jury couldn't accept anything he said in his deposition.

This verdict will almost certainly be rejected on appeal.

Here's something that even the thickest headed leftist might understand:

Since Trump was found not guilty of rape, and since she lied about being raped, how can he possibly defame her by calling her a liar?

Utterly false. Carroll sued for 2 causes of action. The first was "battery," not "rape," and the second was "defamation." She was able to prove both beyond a preponderance of the evidence to the jury which is why she prevailed. The court made no errors in allowing that to stand.
