I don't claim to have a crystal ball, though. It's early and anything can happen. Will be interested to see how another indictment or two shapes the campaign. The NY indictment inspired Trump but if he's facing multiple indictments and trials, maybe voters give up on him

I gave up on Trump before the election. If DeSantis doesn't run, I can only hope the GOP will let a fiscal conservative campaign, without throwing him/her under the bus. Because I'm darn sure not going to vote for Biden or Trump.

DeSantis is a LOT better version of MAGA. Less drama and better results.
A Trump maga will only bring 4 or 5 more years of the democrats dogpiling Trump. And then Trump (once again) caving to the left, like he did his entire presidency.
