What is the essential difference between right and left ?

Just 2 % of the US population identifies as "gay" yet they represent 61% of the HIV infected populace. Moreover, 67% of all new HIV infections come from the gay and bisexual community. Do you understand what that means? It's nature stamping a big fat REJECT on homosexual activity.

We have 40 million Americans without healthcare insurance; most because they can't afford it. To solve this problem, I'm going to make a law that forces them to buy the insurance they can't afford, and when they don't, we will keep their badly needed income tax return.

If we want to end gun violence, we need to disarm the potential victims.

If we force restaurants to put a calorie count on every item they sell, that will reduce obesity in the US.

If we create a law that reduces magazine size, that will stop mass shooters.

We have a problem with outsourcing in this country, to address that, we need to double the minimum wage.

The left displays their high IQ with every policy they try to pass.

There's plenty of examples of the Left becoming unhinged in fear..... one could see the screaming banshees at the Cavenaugh hearing for one ...... oh wait, or were they being paid to pretend to be coming unhinged? Fear is an emotion that some people have more than others, you can't really break that down by political party, it's just not being intellectually honest. There are fear mongers on both sides and actually , besides the two extremes, there are so many people in the middle on so many issues.

To tell you the truth, there isn't much difference. Each side believes theirs is the only right way to run things.

There is some truth to that.

On the right, we are moving towards constitutionalism as demonstrated by the Tea Party.

On the left, they almost had an admitted Socialist as their presidential candidate. Not only did the US Communist party support him, but the last three presidential candidates.

So where is the middle ground between Communism and Constitutionalism? There is none.
