Most people work 4 to 5 months a year for free because their wages consisting of paper fiat scrip (that loses purchasing power every year) are confiscated in the form of taxes and fees. The "safety net" you speak of in the form of social security is shared equally by the employer and employee but yet "da gubermint" put the surplus into the general fund to spend on illegal wars, black ops and other nefarious operations in order to topple countries that didn't see things the way the "Three City/State" control model did and had resources that they coveted. Composite "gubermint" per the CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) takes in more wealth due to their investments and private/public holdings. Every city, town, county and state is incorporated and is simply a subsidiary of USA.INC whose corporate headquarter is in Washington, District of Columbia.....what is Columbia a district of? What was the name of the site before it became Washington, D.C....there is your first clue.

So last year I made a whooping $25,000 for the year. I paid $6,300 in taxes.

Think about that by the way.... I barely make $25,000 a year, and I'm paying $6,300 in taxes.


I paid $540 to the state in taxes. Of the entire State budget, only 5% went to "Police". 20% went to education. Another 5% went to department of transportation (which is infrastructure). That's $162. Out of $540 in taxes.

I paid $3,900 to the Feds in taxes. Of the entire Federal budget, 2% is education. 3% is transportation and infrastructure. Less than 1% is police and justice. That's $195 out of hte $3,900 I paid in taxes.

I paid $1,800 in property taxes. Library cost $55. Education was $1,300.

I paid $546 to the City, and basically all of it goes to those things.

So let's recap for a second.

I paid $6,300 of my hard earned money in taxes, and for that, only $2,250 or so went to those things you listed.

You could cut my taxes in half.... and still have money left over to pay down the national debt.

Here's the other side......

Education: We spend more money per student than any other nation on the face of this Earth, and yet our students routinely do worse on average than countries that spend a fraction on education. We are spending too much on education, for bad results.

Libraries: huh? When was the last time anyone on this forum, went to a public library? Google has half the books digitized already. Why do we need that?

Police: We wouldn't need to spend as much on police, if the left-wing would stop defending every criminal, and attacking every police officer. How about we teach some morals, and respect for the law?
