14M lose coverage under GOP health bill: Congress’ analyst

Need we say any more?
WASHINGTON — Nonpartisan analysts project that 14 million people would lose coverage next year under the House bill dismantling former President Barack Obama’s health care law. The estimate is a blow to Republicans.

Monday’s estimate by the Congressional Budget Office says the number of uninsured would grow to 24 million by 2026.

The projections give fuel to opponents who warn the measure would toss millions of voters off insurance plans. Criticism has come from Democrats, Republicans from states that benefit from Obama’s law and many corners of the health-care industry.

President Donald Trump backs the GOP plan.
So since I know what a low information and emotional train wreck of a poster you are instead of taking your word for it I went and checked into what the CBO is actually saying.

24 million people will not "LOSE" their insurance. The CBO is making it clear that by removing the mandate a good portion of people will choose not to have insurance.

In other words some in a free nation of individual choice will not purchase healthcare plans.
Are you going to pay the hospital bills for those who dont have insurance?
Socialist entitlement programs always have to have someone pay for them, successful people - deadbeats always get a free ride/pass in socialist society.

No, they are....
And if they cant afford a hospital bill, you pay it
No, they will...

I don't see why it matters...we got MILLIONS now that CAN'T afford the premiums and now POSSIBLY millions that would lose insurance....so either way they lose!
Can you document that millions cant afford insurance, or are you FOS?
More than half of Americans say they can't afford to pay over $100 per month for health insurance

There you go snowflake. Now deflect and move the goalposts...
Democrats force them to pay that premium so they can force them to pay the 10,000 dollar deductible to use the insurance....democrats are evil...
Of course this was the way things were going before ACA...GO AFTER COSTS and fix it. GOPers are now saying give competition a chance. BUT not for ACA's competition? ARGH.
The hell? obiecare isn't competition or even promoting it. How many counties have ONE, as in Uno, less than two choices of healthcare plans under this shit law you're so proud of?

That pile of shit can't be fixed. If you don't like the plan today you're really going to not like it once it does pass. Which makes me happy because it will be the right thing to do.

Dip shit, Obama care cannot be fixed it is absolutely impossible to fix. Because the people it targets want nothing to do with it will never use it and cannot afford. So basically it is like Robin Hood except the fact the criminals are the ones getting rewarded.

It has a zero chance of passage. Just today a republican senator told his house colleagues that it cant pass in the senate so why vote for it

Anyone that thinks paying into an insurance pool is a valid idea for healthcare is a fucking moron and should be pistol whipped into a coma.

In total, an estimated 52 million people would be uninsured by 2026 under the GOP plan, compared to 28 million who would lack insurance under the current law.]
Speaking of shit laws...

Those cheap Obamacare plans are getting even more expensive.

Deductibles for individuals enrolled in the lowest-priced Obamacare health plans will average more than $6,000 in 2017, the first time that threshold has been cracked in the three years that Affordable Care Act marketplaces have been in business, a new analysis finds.

Families enrolled in bronze plans will have average deductibles of $12,393, according to the study by the consumer insurance comparison site HealthPocket.

A deductible is the amount of money someone must personally pay out of pocket for health services before insurance covers the remaining cost.

Yup... Those cheap, affordable health plans are a boon for the consumer.

Obamacare offers health coverage, but no health care.

If they don't have the money or insurance or a payment plan you don't treat them. That's the problem with you liberals. You always need to protect people from their own actions. If you'd stop doing that shit people will make sure they are covered or live with the consequences.

"Twenty-four million more Americans would be uninsured by 2026 under the House Republican health care bill than under Obamacare, including 14 million by next year, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office said Monday."

trump has started dumping perfumes on the lump of shit he's been pushing before now he might have to call in the EPA to clean up the mess!!

Yeah, 14 million young healthy people will no longer carry health insurance because they wont be under threat of imprisonment and fines for not carrying excessive amounts of insurance that they do not need.

In other news, millions of Americans who had to pay excessive taxes for 'cadelac insurance plans' will be no longer targeted for that special tax. Dimmocrats call it a "windfall for the most wealthy of Americans" in news at 11.
Lol oh right. Those 14 million people are just aching to lose their insurance. You people are so dumb.

Actually it is simple logic.

First of all, moving from income to age based subsidies means that those who are too rich for Medicare but are working either part-time or fulltime jobs that do not offer healthcare might not be able to afford it.

Even with age based subsidies, the subsidies will be less than Obamacare but the costs for older Americans will be going up as insurance companies will be able to charge more. With higher costs and less in subsidies, they will be unable to afford insurance.

Interestingly enough, the approval ratings for the ACA have been going up. For the first time, it recently hit the 50% mark in approval.

The current law isn't perfect, but could be fixed a lot easier than coming up with this disaster of a Trump plan
I think both sides are full of shit TBH....I think BOTH sides are screaming the world is gonna end and I think BOTH sides are absolutely full of SHIT. Can it be better? Hell yes,Can Obamacare be saved with some tweaks? I don't think so. According to its architect it was designed to fail. We need a damn healthcare law that DOES NOT take the input of the asshole insurance companies into mind. They are the reason its so fucked up. Trying to get rich off of people dying.

Who said it was designed to fail? Do you have a quote...........
Jonathan Gruber, infamous Obamacare architect, says system ‘working as designed’

"working as designed" so it was designed to fail? Even the most ardent obamacare supporter has to admit the skyrocketing premiums and people not being able to afford the deductibles means obamacare is failing big time....We all realize Obamacare was meant to fail so the democrats ASSUMED under President Clinton a complete 1 payer system would be installed.

what do you mean by an insurance pool?
The very concept of insurance is fraudulent, basically it is a recipe to be taking advantage of by deadbeats... mandated insurance is nothing more than legalized extortion
