Remember this isn't just Trump's fault. This started with Reagan. Late 70's the corporations decided to back a president that would go along with trickle down.

a. Corporations shouldn't pay taxes
b. Turn a blind eye to illegal employers
c. Break unions
d. Created nafta and send jobs overseas
e. Remember companies would ask for impossible qualifications from Americans who wanted $80K a year so they could ask the government for special visas. They said "we tried and couldn't find any Americans that met all our criteria" but weren't so picky when they were interviewing Indians who would work for half as much.

f. GE Jack Welch. Famous for making companies more profitable. How did he do it? He broke the social contract companies had with workers. Like workers in Germany have with companies in Germany today. They can expect to work there till they retire. Jack fired the bottom 10% in every department every year no matter how good the company was doing. And today, the average person only works 5 years at any place. They get chewed up and spit out. Some move on to bigger and better things, some have to start over after being out of work for 1-5 months.

I experienced this in the 2000's. And I'm in sales. It's hard to build up a client base and in 5 years, the company fucks you and takes all that you have built. The goal was to build up a base so you can stop prospecting. But companies hate paying for repeat business YOU FOUND.

A guy who did investments part time invested my roll over years ago. He just retired. I don't retire for another 9 years. Did he make anything on me? Or did that investment company get it all because he retired before I did?

Today companies will hire 10 sales guys knowing they only need 1. So they fuck 9 guys who now have to explain why they keep losing jobs.

My brother just retired. He never worked for an evil company because he was always in automotive and the union world where workers are treated right and paid fairly. He went to work for a non union type company and he couldn't stay and he was making 1.7 million a year in the end.

Don't forget, unions made America great for the middle class. Doesn't matter if you were in one or not. You only make what you make because of unions. It's why they were invented. Because companies didn't want to pay more freely. It never made sense to them.

Today I hear Cali is passing a $20 hr minimum wage law and McDonald is crying about it. Fuck you McD you make millions each year on each location.
