Republicans made their claims following the release of a secretly recorded video showing Deborah Nucatola, the senior director of medical services at Planned Parenthood, discussing the procurement of fetal tissues when conducting abortions. The edited video, released July 14 by an anti-abortion group called the Center for Medical Progress, leaves the impression that Nucatola is talking about Planned Parenthood affiliates making money from fetal tissue. But the edited video ignores other things Nucatola said that contradict that idea.

The $30-100 is for shipping. And if anyone has ever tried to overnight anything from the east coast to California on UPS/Fedex they know that's still about half of what it actually costs for a one-pound box.

The makers of these videos have very good editors.

So why different amounts "shipping" costs for different parts? Why do they get more money if it's intact, if it's just shipping?

It's Shipping and Handling Costs, not just shipping alone, and I would imagine that depending on how the specimen had to be handled costs less or more...as example, in blood banking, from a whole unit of blood comes packed red blood cells and plasma and platelets and factor 8 (Cryo) all come from a fresh, whole unit of Blood, through different measures taken with the whole unit of blood...to have a unit of Red Packed blood cells, you centrifuge a whole unit of blood for a certain time period at a certain speed to draw off the plasma and leave the packed red blood cells...so, even though a whole unit of blood is red blood cells and plasma and platelets etc all in one....it was the CHEAPEST blood component to buy, because it did not have to be handled more than once, other than type/ matching...(but the whole unit of blood had to be at a certain refrigeration temperature at all times, while the Plasma drawn off of it, did not have to be refrigerated at all when shipping it), but the platelets drawn off of the whole unit of blood after it's protocol spin in the centrifuge had to be FROZEN immediately and transported frozen and stored frozen....in a specific container, so the separated blood components, for the handling, which includes drawing it off of the whole blood and specific protocols for doing such and in maintaining the temperature for each component differently, would be included in the handling charge....

I am thinking that each type of tissue transfers, have protocols on how and what kind of container for whatever specific size, and maintained at whatever protocol temperature is part of the handling charges and this is why shipping and handling fees change and are higher or lower....and even fees from one part of the country verses another part of the country could change those fees as well.... handling fees is exactly what it has always been, and that is the cost of every action taken, and every container used to retrieve, and maintain to protocol, the tissue specimen.

The abortionists already get money from the women and the state to kill the babies. If you allow them to profit from the sale of dead babies, then the GOAL is to harvest as many, as late, as possible...which puts the women at high risk. It's why doctors aren't allowed to sell the dead. It rewards them for killing their patients. You can't serve the best interests of women if you get extra money for putting them at higher risk. It also results in coercion.
