Billy the Bagman's duplicity has convinced Trump supporters, but will it convinced the judge?

Nothing has emerged....Other than blatant proprietorial misconduct
You meant to write prosecutorial misconduct............nitwit.

"But apparently Flynn didn’t appear flustered or nervous when he lied to the FBI. A partially redacted FBI memo — known as a 302 — states that the FBI agents said Flynn "did not give any indicators of deception." During Michael Flynn’s sentencing phase, the special counsel reiterated the agents’ impression.

This seems to be the basis for Trump’s claim. But Trump’s selective reading gives a false impression itself.

Lawyers for the special counsel’s office said Flynn’s seemingly guileless demeanor did not change the fact that he was lying — which Flynn himself admitted."
Couldn't care less about your idiotoc opinions or your fake sources....Fact remains the Flynn was railroaded and his civil rights were steamrolled.

There was a time long ago that blood-shooting-out-the-ears liberoidal cranks like you claimed to live and die by standing up for civil rights, but you really don't -and never did- give one single flying fuck about them.

BTW, Politifact is pure shit.

That's a bald-faced lie.

BTW, it's Page and Strzok. Flynn's attorney should be disbarred.

8) Now the FBI bottom feeders are reduced to ruining Flynn's life just to show their coup attempt didn't yield absolutely nothing..........batshyte crazy

pretty pathetic!! they wanted to bring down Trump and reverse an election( their insurance policy!!) and TDS made them happy to ruin lives to do it but all they did was entrap Flynn for lying to them when he had no reason to lie whatsoever, which he would have known had he not been denied his MIranda/Brady rights.

Hopefully Durham criminal investigation will jail them for their crimes starting with crime of altering evidence about Flynn and about Page before FISA court!!

. Flynn's attorney should be disbarred.

because she got Brady evidence that FBI illegally withheld for years?????
Gee I wonder why they fought so hard to hide the evidence?? Can you take a guess Mr. Burg???

Couldn't care less about your uninformed opinion. What you said, according to the facts in evidence, is a lie.

My opinion is very well informed, quite unlike yours.....Flynn is going to walk because the prosecution was a bunch of political hacks who violated every rule of legal propriety in the book, and Flynn's original lawyers were incompetent nincompoops.

Those are the legal facts, and there's no amount of spin from your fucking hack shyster sham artist blogs that will change them.

but he obviously never had to lie about doing his job. FBI illegally entrapped him to lie by denying him his Miranda-like rights!!

or, you might say FBI wants to jail a life- long American hero after tricking him into thinking that encouraging Russia not to retaliate against the USA was a crime! How slimy can you get?

I love what Obama had to say, don't you?

“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn,” Obama said in a web talk with members of the Obama Alumni Association.

“And the fact that there is there is no precedent that anybody can find for somebody who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic — not just institutional norms — but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”
. . . welp. ..

From where I am sitting. . . as a sort of, interested and non-partisan observer?

It seems to me, Obama is the one that sort of put "the rule of law," in jeopardy in the first place, didn't he? By. . . *cough* the actions he preceded to take against the incoming Trump administration.

When Obama states, "there is no precedent that anybody can find," what he should be looking at is his OWN behavior. Never, in the history of the Republic has an outgoing administration weaponized the security establishment against the incoming administration. . . . and if he is worried about the break-down of the "rule of law," I can guarantee you which partisans are more well armed.

:heehee:

Perhaps instead of vitriolic rhetoric, Obama should instead offer some contrite "mea culpa" for the sake of the Republic? :dunno:

Interesting, right? If Flynn had been encouraging Russia to retaliate against the USA they would have got him, but when he did the opposite they got him too!! Pray you never bump into the FBI!!!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The notoriously independent-minded federal judge who once said he was disgusted by the conduct of Michael Flynn could block the administration’s bid to drop criminal charges against the former adviser to President Donald Trump, legal experts said.
The Department of Justice on Thursday told U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan in Washington it wants to drop the case against Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, following a pressure campaign by the Republican president and his political allies.
While judges typically sign off on such motions, Sullivan could refuse and instead demand answers from the DOJ about who requested the sudden about-face, said Seth Waxman, a former federal prosecutor now at the law firm Dickinson Wright.
“If Judge Sullivan wanted to he could conduct an inquiry and start asking a lot of questions,” said Waxman.

Presumably, Judge Sullivan is intimately familiar with these facts.

"The president may well pardon Flynn, as he has long hinted. It’s possible—though for reasons we’ll explain, we think unlikely—that Judge Emmet G. Sullivan will allow Flynn to withdraw his plea. And it’s possible as well that Attorney General William Barr, who has already intervened in the case once before and has asked a U.S. attorney to review its handling, will intervene once again on Flynn’s behalf. (how prescient was that!!)

So far, however, nothing has emerged that remotely clears Flynn; nothing has emerged that would require Sullivan to allow him to withdraw his plea; and nothing has emerged that would justify the Justice Department’s backing off of the case—or prosecuting it aggressively if Flynn were somehow allowed out of the very generous deal Special Counsel Robert Mueller cut him."

Facts which expose Barr's attempt to get another Trump crony off the hook for a crime he committed much more difficult to pull off than it is to convince Trumpleheads. Folks who are eager and willing to swallow all the horseshit the Trump admin can shovel their way.

better hope the judge does something this could be sited as precident for years to come. gunna be funny when it is the dems sting this case. Not! I am not for estabishing a class above the law. you would think republicans would realize this that a democrat will take advantage at some time but they can nit see past thier nose.

Yeah it's not like the Obama Administration already fingerfucked the Constitution and spied on the incoming Administration. Imagine if they get away with it?
Oh I am sure the current administration will not get away with all of thier crimes sooner or later we will get the idiot bastards. They are not very bright.

It has nothing to do with gay clubs and everything to do with the tendency to defile entire rooms. Like yourself.
