We have made tremendous progress with research and development. The "C" was always thought a death sentence decades ago... now much has been done in treatments that prolongs the lives of those with cancer...and that comes from spending money on that research....

And tons and tons and tons of private donations goes in to Cancer research, cures and prevention, each year too!

My father has had 3 to 4 different Cancers and is 92 now, still living alone with mom, and driving and going out to eat 2 times a week, @ least. Skin Cancer...both Basal Cell and Melanoma, Prostate Cancer, and Colon Cancer.... Advances by trying to find a "cure" and good treatments and tech advances and detection advances for those cancers, gave him a very normal and good life....

Geez, surely this Cancer cure funding money is well spent, for the benefit of all Americans, and all of humanity!

We should be arguing over the frivolous crap they spend our taxes on, and imo, this ain't one of them!
