Cop tasers teen standing on his girlfriends porch.

Not where I live.
Sorry you live in such an oppressed society.

So teaching your kids not to tresspass is being oppressed ?
He cut between two houses. Who put the giant rod up your ass?

Still tresspassing.
Is only robbing one or two banks better than robbing four?
Nope. Not trespassing. You are allowed to walk on open property. It’s only trespassing if you are told to leave and you refuse.

Otherwise you could arrest anyone who knocks on your door, for example.

Go ahead and try that when you're in someone's backyard without permission.
If the owner tells you to leave, then you leave. If you don’t, it’s trespassing. Given it was his girlfriend’s back yard, he did have permission to be there.

By going through peoples backyards he was rightfully considered a problem.
That he ended up in someone's backyard when confronted is even more damning.
Had he simply followed the officers instructions nothing would have happened.
Instead he wanted to act tough like a lot of blacks who think it's cool to resist.
And he's lucky he didnt wind up dead.
He went between two houses and y’all are acting as if he was engaging in some deplorable behavior. The old man, get off my lawn, strain runs deep.

People don’t really like to be treated like criminals, wouldn’t you agree?

And what do ya know....he was a crimminal.
He wasn’t breaking into anyone’s houses.

Are you denying he has a record?
Took a golf cart on a joy ride.

He stole a golf cart.
And he had drugs on him when he was tased.
He didn’t have a golf cart, did he. He wasn’t breaking into houses either.

Of course he didnt.
Thats why he stole one.
So what does the golf cart have to do with anything?

He wasn’t breaking into houses as he was “suspected” of doing.

What does it have to do with anything?
It shows he has a penchant for crimminal activity.
Seems to me the cops instincts were right on the money.

Many times it’s suspicious behaviour ffs normal folk don’t dress all in black and take short cuts through peoples property

Guess you've never hung out with bikers or been to a biker bar. Even in summer, the majority of them dress in black shirts and black chaps. And, many of those people who ride motorcycles are upstanding types in their communities. Here in Amarillo, I actually knew Judge Ware, and he was a great person to hang out with, and yes, he often dressed in black and rode a Harley. Sorry, dressing all in black isn't suspicious in my book. I wear black sweats with a black tank top or t-shirt on a regular basis, as it's one of my favorite colors because it doesn't show dirt as much as others do.
Actually, I have for many decades but that's another story.

Dressed in all black WHILE cutting through the back yards of houses where you have no business is highly suspicious.

My first in 1968, same year and model anyway.

Today at 77, 13th, or 14th, not sure. Plus countless racing dirt bikes.

I read the article with sympathy for the state trooper figuring he must have been called by the homeowner. When I read that the trooper acted only because the teen, 'looked suspicious', it flipped my opinion entirely. Teens looking suspicious comes naturally.

I don't remember which but he was on probation or parole for having stolen a golf cart. He didn't have to have broken into a house. He was dressed in all black, cutting through the back yards of houses where he had no business. That's more than enough reason to stop and have a chat with him.

Americas police forces are out of control. I dont need to fill in the demographics on this one. You already know.
LOL. Convenient there is no video leading up to it. The moron didn’t obey the cop I am assuming.

I thought tasers were preferred to shootings? Now y’all are complaining about non-lethal tasing and detaining?

Notice how they base the entire story on what the mother says not on police reports, or what the home owners say? Tommy, that means the article is BS and that they are manipulating fools.
The kid was unarmed and visiting his girlfriend. His criminal record amounted to joy riding on a golf cart and he had his Mams marijuana . Obviously a major criminal.

A few years ago a Welsh rugby international "stole" a golf cart and drove it down the M4 whilst pissed. He became a national hero and everyone thought he was a character.

Of course he wasnt a black teenager in Klan country.
Mama is a pot head---and you believe her story?

Many cops will be glad to walk over your rights if you allow them to. This I know for sure.

is it criminal to wear black? No.
is it criminal to cut between houses? No.
Walking over your rights?

Asking you questions to eliminate you as a suspect? No.
A suspect in what crime exactly? There was no crime.

The kid told them he was there to see his girlfriend.
And he though that would be the end of it. Go away cop. You must believe me when I tell you shit like "I am here to see my girlfriend." You must inquire no further.

Shut the fuck up.

Guilty complex or what, Tommy? I didn't mention his criminal record-----at all. My comments were about how the article was obviously bias as they didn't provide actual facts---just the boo-hoo of the you now admitted criminals mother. I find when they leave out pertinent info, and quote the mother of the suspect---that the article is pure manipulation and that they are hiding the truth.

I didn't mention his criminal record at all. I only pointed out that quoting the suspects mother instead of checking other sources like the police report---CLEARLY shows manipulation on the articles part. Mother a pot head? Dad not around? the article didn't even ask the girl if this guy was her boyfriend (for all you know she doesn't even know him) should be giving you a hint that something is amiss.

They will bitch about anything and everything just to prove WAICIST.

Some people will be chased down by cops because they look “suspicious”. Others won’t because they don’t look “suspicious”. I worry about whose instincts lead them to make that determination.

Your comment here implies racism. I've been stopped before because I was white. I wasn't doing anything wrong, but I was in the black projects and on several occasions been intensely questioned what I was doing there. I had no problem with that because unlike you leftists, I look at things from both points of view. Even as a young man I understood the officers reasoning was that the only time white people go into such a dangerous neighborhood was for drug sales, in spite of me driving a marked van and in uniform.

I gave them my drivers license when asked, I answered all their questions, I showed them my delivery or pickup order, and after they were convinced I was not there for nefarious reasons, thanked me for my cooperation. One officer even escorted me to my customers apartment because he was concerned about my safety.

With all these crazed cops running around and me not quite the upstanding citizen I would think I would at least see one of them. I can see it all now though. Some goody two shoes setting on his girl friend's porch polishing his good guy award given him by the people of his city when two cops looking for some simple minded upstanding citizen to beat to a pulp. Goodie Two Shoes was turned away from the cops trying to get a hard stain off his award when they pulled out their tasers and blind sided him. Not stopping until leaving him in a vegetated state. a fter making sire Goodie Twoo Shoes was in cuffs and leg irons they got on their radio calling other cops to come and join in on the fun. It happens all the time.

Is that what you think happened here? My Lord, you liberals really live in this make-believe-world you live in.

If a person is engaged in suspicious activity, then if he doesn't want to be treated like a criminal, he shouldn't act like a criminal when approached by authorities.
