Gender-refers to the socially constructed roles, behavior expressions and identities of girls, women, boys, men and gender diverse people. Actually the gay teams play against everyone else. I've never been into sports, maybe I used the wrong term. I probably should have said gay teams instead of gay leagues. They beat the San Francisco police team last year.
