Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

"Poll Boy" is spinning again...

People don't buy your bullshit here, carbs...

That has always been the trouble with popularity...do you poll only likely voters, or do you poll everyone?

By polling only likely voters, you are polling the people most up on current events and politics.

By polling everyone, you are including people who don't know a thing about politics and make their judgments on vanity or a whim.

Which is why there is always a 3-5% error factor included. Polling is a science, which is why national polling organizations (yes, including Rasmussen) steer clear of anything considered a "straw poll." Those tend to attract more yahoos than seriously concerned people.

That 3-5% of down like this is still down significantly and in a very short period of time.
If he had to answer to a board of directors he'd be packing up his desk photos.

BS..if anything, this financial crisis has shown that the greedy pricks who earn million dollar salaries are not only answerable to no one, but get pretty upset if you take away their bonuses...

which is why the rasmussen poll is more accurate

Here's a good example:

Let's say USA Today did a poll on the job approval rating for the current Secretary of Agriculture.

During their polling, they realized that 95% of the people polled had no idea who the current Secretary of Agriculture was, and an additional 4% didn't care enough about him to have developed an opinion.

Now, if USA Today had asked the respondents to give them their opinion on the subject anyway, do you think that would have been a valid response?

That reminds me of an episode of the Man Show where they asked people on the street to sign a petition against "Women's Suffrage". Hilarious.

Guess what? IQ is not a requirement to vote or to breed. Welcome to America.

Can't argue with that.

Guess I was reminiscing back to the good ole days when the US had an abundance of good sense.

What board of directors is going to fire a guy who still has the majority of his constituents approving of the job he's doing?

People don't buy your bullshit here, carbs...

Rasmussen is an outlier that intentionally uses a polling methodology that produces lower numbers for Obama than the averages...

...just for suckers like you, apparently.

No, actually, they had consistently higher numbers for Bush so you don't know what the fuck you're talking about - sad to see you haven't changed.

Here's the thing...
No president's approval rating goes UP after an election.
That is their highest.
That's opening night.
Unless you have a horrible, nationally solidifying event in your first year of office.

And I feel like I need to put this in every one of my posts here... I AM NOT DEFENDING OBAMA.
HE IS NOT MY SAVIOR.
HE IS JUST A POLITICIAN.

So now that we know that mysteriously, Rasmussen not only manages to get lower than average numbers for Obama, but also managed to get higher than average numbers for GW Bush,

what should we think about Rasmussen? An outlier to the Republican side both when a Republican was president and when a Democrat is president.

That is SOME coincidence isn't it?

lol suckers...
