That is why you bring in the people who heard the conversation first hand. Those who tried to cover up the call and talk to them first hand.The problem with the so called whistleblower is they apparently did not actually hear the call they were getting this information second and third hand at the best you have someone spreading gossip.
If a person hears someone say their friend plans on commiting a terrorist act, you should not tell the police because you did not hear if first hand? Give me a break.

"Crucify" is an interesting term. It's kind of funny that the left characterizes an investigation by the President's staff as an attempt to crucify the whistle blower while the desperate angry left is trying to crucify the President.

If the case for Trump's impeachment is so strong, why are democrats lying about it?
Almost everything about the allegations that have Democrats moving toward impeachment of the President is a lie, a proven lie. And they don’t care.
“There was a quid pro quo” they said. The President threatened to withhold aid money from Ukraine unless Zelensky investigated Joe and Hunter Biden, we were told. The transcript showed that did not happen.
That fact did not stop any Democrat from saying it did. It did not stop anchors at CNN and MSNBC from saying it did.
On MSNBC, Katy Tur summarized the transcript this way: “Will you do me a favor and investigate Vice President Biden’s son? Will you do me a favor and get involved in the 2020 election? Vice President Biden is my chief political opponent.”
On CNN, Brianna Keillor said President Trump told Zelensky, “’I would like you to do us a favor…’ the President asks Zelensky to dig up dirt on Biden and his son, Hunter.”
The President said nothing of the sort. The President was asking for Zelensky’s help investigating attempts by the previous Ukraine government’s meddling in the 2016 election. Read the transcript for yourself. To get to any mention of Biden you have to skip 540 words, fully three quarters the length of an op-ed. But CNN and MSNBC simply erased those words and created their own version of the conversation.
There was a time when the media reported on Ukraine’s attempt to influence our election made news. In January of 2017, Politico ran a story with the headline, “Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire.”
In that story, by the way, Politico reports, “Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.”

You don't go to the police and say someone told me that a friend of their's said you are a rapist and pedohile either and you dam sure don't send that to the media and the media does not publish it unless all concerned want to get their ass sued off. Trump and his lap dogs are crucifying the whistle blower. Bullshit, go before congress and provide evidence that what he/she heard is incorrect. Bring the people who the whistle blower says have first hand knowledge and what they say.
If after the process and the whistle blower made a mountain out of a mole hill, then crucify them.
If what they say is true, I would not make them a saint but give them huge credit for having the guts to come forward and expose actions that threaten are great republic

CIA agents are supposed to spy on foreign adversaries. This one spied on the president, then cloaked himself in whistleblower camouflage. His sources are presumably still at work and perhaps planning another run at the president.
