DONE - GOING TO JAIL! -- Official: Some Clinton emails 'too damaging' to release'

Exactly

And classified documents need to be identified as such before they are sent. If Hillary received a Top Secret document on her private server, she would be expected t report the spillage

She can't do that on unmarked documents. Nor can she determine that this information may someday be reclassified

that is not true. its not the markings that make it classified, its the content of the document.

I had clearances up to SAP, I know the rules on this. Hillary violated the law, If I had done what she did I would be posting from a jail cell at Leavenworth.
Very true

It is up to the sender to be sure information is not classified. However, there is no way for Sec Clinton to know that unclassified information may be reclassified five years later

So you're saying the woman placed in charge of the state dept, people's lives, and entrusted with our national security was so incompetent, so stupid, she couldn't identitfy information so classified that none of it can be released publicly without causing serious damage to our national security?

...and you / liberals argue that she competent enough to serve as President...

:lmao:
Absolutely

There is no way for a Sec of State to know the potential security implications of the thousands of documents that cross your desk

That is why they need to be properly labeled. Why aren't Republicans pursuing the senders of those documents?
Let me tell you this one more time. Now listen closely. Some documents were Top Secret "at Birth", which means that Hillary actually initiated some of those TS memos herself but neglected to mark the TOP Secret, or SAP. That is a big problem for her.

Then of course there were other TS documents that were so secret she allowed Huma Abedin read them and told Jake Sullivan to take of the TS heading so they could send it in an unsecured server. Both actions illegal.
Your statement:
"There is no way for a Sec of State to know the potential security implications of the thousands of documents that cross your desk" Are you going to go with the "Incompetent" angle? What in the hell was her job if it was not to read the thousands of documents that crossed her desk over the years.

Come to think about it, I believe Hillary should leave the country and hide. She's not getting out of this one. The WH is coming down on her as we speak.

But keep defending her. It's what you do, not well, mind you , but...you try.

What part of NOT marked Classified don't you republicans get?
The emails were not marked classified at the time they were sent, but were "were upgraded at the request of the intelligence community," State Department spokesman John Kirby said.

Already in the public domain????? Are you fantasizing these comments and putting them out there to see if they fly?

So, link me pleeeese to what TOP SECRET an SAP documents were already in the public domain!!!

Officials: New Top Secret Clinton Emails 'Innocuous'

The classified material included in the latest batch of Hillary Clinton emails flagged by an internal watchdog involved discussions of CIA drone strikes, which are among the worst kept secrets in Washington, senior U.S. officials briefed on the matter tell NBC News.

The officials say the emails included relatively "innocuous" conversations by State Department officials about the CIA drone program, which technically is considered a "Special Access Program" because officials are briefed on it only if they have a "need to know."

As a legal matter, the U.S. government does not acknowledge that the CIA kills militants with drones. The fact that the CIA conducts drone strikes in Pakistan and Yemen, however, has long been known. Senior officials, including Sen. Dianne Feinstein and former CIA Director Leon Panetta, have publicly discussed CIA drones.

For now it appears Obama intends to cover Hillary's ass, protecting her from prosecution like he did Holder. Despite all the crimes already proven Obama sent the message out loud and clear that he intends to refuse to allow any indictment of Hillary Clinton:

"White House spokesman Josh Earnest said today that "based on what we know" it does not look like Hillary Clinton will be indicted. Earnest made the remarks the White House podium."

Evidently illegally possessing classified information, especially information so classified that if it released would cause serious damage to our national security, is not enough reason to allow the indictment of one of his hand-picked administration members, whose fate will have a serious impact on his legacy (which already has an astetick by it mentioning his ex-atty general who should be in jail but instead is the 1st atty general in US history to be Censured).

...the most scandal-plagued, cover-up running presidency ever!
Your boner has lasted over four hours.

You should probably call your doctor about that.

That;s the best you've got? You cannot come back with facts?

No. No one has done all of the egregious activities that Hillary has done. This reaches to new heights.

So essentially, you are trying to create a special category of crime that only applies to Mrs. Clinton, because you don't like her. Got it.

One, most of that is a lie, and if they did not come in classified, but were, it was Clinton;s job to mark them classified herself.

What part of 'information so classified that it can not be released under any circumstances' don't you understand, eddie?!

Petraeus, Gonzales and one other were fired, had clearances revoked and found guilty of mishandling TS documents. None of them had mishandled SAP documents or removed their label except Hilliery.

Those indictments had better fly, or else some folks are gonna look silly.

Why would they look silly now? These "indictments" have been impending for a year according to USMB nutters.

Hillary will be at the end of her second term in 2025, and the nutters will still be claiming she's going to be indicted any day on the 100 fake scandals they will make up when she is in office.

"These distinctions are explained in regular training sessions for employees, usually held annually. Because on a day-to-day basis, it’s ultimately these workers that determine whether or not an email they’re about to send contains classified information.

“It’s incredibly challenging,” said Cohen, who also oversaw DHS counterterrorism programs. “You are, in the course of any given day, provided huge amounts of information, some of it highly classified, some of it classified at lower levels, some of it unclassified."

However, the classified determination doesn’t end once an email has been sent.

Information in a message can be declared classified years after it was initially sent. And the State Department and Intelligence Community can also look at the same text and come to opposite conclusions over whether it contains secret information.

And that’s where the discrepancies are arising between the Office of the Inspector General (IG) of Intelligence Community, Clinton’s campaign and the State Department.

...

"The watchdog said it found a number of Clinton’s emails that currently contained “classified intelligence community information.” But the State Department has said it did not consider that language classified at the time those emails were sent.

Both sides can be correct, said several former officials.

Not only is each side entitled to different standards of classification, but information can become classified almost retroactively, as situations and guidelines change over the years.

An IG could decide “it is a completely different scenario,” and that certain details must now be protected, said Michael Brown, a former DHS director of cybersecurity coordination and current vice president at security firm RSA.

And culturally, intelligence agencies tend to lean toward classification more than an agency like State would, several former employees on both sides agreed."

If she wasn't Hillary Clinton, she'd have been indicted already.

again, can you cite a case where someone was sent to prison for doing exactly what Hillary did.

Thanks.
Patraeus was convicted...didn't go to jail but was found guilty of what Hillary has done.

You're welcome.
And if she was GWB you pubs would give her a parade,, anyone needed indictment it was that murdering swine

joeb it's just more bs they keep throwing against the wall They just can't stop ,,after all they are just Republicans

Investigation still on-going, B. It takes time to collect and put together so much evidence regarding so many crimes, many that have already been proven. The 'death blow' will be when subordinates accept immunity to testify against her, realizing she will throw them under the bus if it means she walks.

Okay, let's look at that.

Petreaus resigned, he wasn't fired. He didn't go to prison, paid a whopping $100K fine. But that wasn't even close to what Hillary is accused of. Hillary didn't remove documents, she received documents someone else had sent, possibly after their classification markings were removed. Petreaus removed clearly marked secret documents and showed them to someone who wasn't authorized to see them.

Gonzalez wasn't accused of leaking classified information, he was accussed of removing Federal Attorneys, which was his right. His resignation - which was far too long in coming - was political, not criminal.

Not sure who "one other" is, but I'm sure you'll share that with us.

Her emails exposed intel from human spying. If that's not classified what is?

'INFORMATION SO CLASSIFIED THAT IT CAN NOT BE RELEASED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BECAUSE IT WOULD CAUSE GREAT DAMAGE TO OUR NATIONAL SECURITY'

You might want to rethink that statement about the information she had on her server already being in the public domain...

I'm not going to buy their claims that thhis stuff was secret just because they say so. Show us the documents or shut the fuck up. Because my guess is, it's probably something that has been on Wikileaks for years.
