What if "the American pie" would be divided?
Try to imagine some situation. Imagine that some states or groups of states of America want to break away and become independent. There is the United States map has long entered in the free market, on which instead of the traditional 50 states across the country have identified a number of new independent states: California states, Central North American Republic, Atlantic America and the Republic of Texas.
One of the largest and most economically developed states - Texas, - most is subject of this separation. There is no economic problem in oiled Texas. Moreover, they pay the highest taxes. So, Texas feeds almost all of America. And the current mess at the border adds fuel to the fire.
Another state, which, according to experts, may leave the United States, it is sunny California. They are also sufficiently economically independent. After all, they are the concentration of high technologies.
And Alaska. This state is far away from the country. And Alaska may to join Canada. Or even go back to Russia...
How do you think, may this scenario came true?

The term is Balkanization. This is what the radicals want, a breakdown of the greatest social contract ever devised in human history.

That "greatest social contract ever devised" ship sailed years ago.
This country is finished.

As far as balkanization, when it happens here we'll make them look like kids on a playground.

Look at what happened in Ukraine. At first it was just a peaceful demonstration. Then they escalated into clashes, which resulted in a change of power. Illegitimate change of power. And now, Ukraine is divided country. And it will continue to disintegrate...without any interference...
And what are we have in the US? The border chaos could lead to rebel and the separation of Texas as a consequence

Bigger countries generally do better. There are some little countries, like Israel,
Luxembourg, Singapore and Hong Kong that are pound for pound some of the most successful in the world, but in the grand scheme of things their limits are caps and they will never rise to the level large country can get to.

Therefore it's well within our best interest to keep the Union together, despite the fact that we disagree on many issues, we are still one nation under god and it's preservation should be protected at all costs, including at the end of a barrel of a gun!

.

Yes, that ship sailed. Due entirely because of progressive liberalism....from Wilson to Roosevelt to Johnson of Obama. I can connect the dots for you, but I suspect you don care to know the details of history.

It is corruption that you despise, not the Constitution. But you, and few others, even know the difference.

IT IS ALREADY HAPPINGING HERE. It is getting old quick to have to explain everything. Balkanization does not refer only to the Balkans, but instead to the dissection of a country.....the Hispanics want it, parts of the black community want it, the haters of Amierika want it, and even Obama etched in stone his desire to "fundamentally transform" the country he obviously dislikes.

So yes, the balkanization of our country. Should not require further description.

Well, not exactly.

The Ukraine has been a take-over since day one. The Russians have LONG wanted a warm-water sea port. What is happening there is a long-overdue residual of the Cold War/Soviet Desire.

Your condescending tone and arrogant attitude don't make you look smarter.

Collapse, partitioning and reconstruction are what is in the future for this country.

It's a perfectly natural and normal event in human endeavors.
All governments collapse, usually there is bloodshed and ethnic cleansing due to old grievances, then partitioning to keep the two apart...then reconstruction of the various partitioned sections....just like the balkans

like I said...

I would love to see Texas leave and watch 1/3 of their economy collapse. Then, I want to watch them get hella smacked over water rights. Hi-larious.

You got nothing. You standing there singing lalalala doesn't get it. Let's pull all federal money out and watch Texas collapse. Defense contracts, military and any cash that comes from the federal government. Popcorn eating fun for the whole family.

Maybe...maybe not. One state by themselves might not make it...but when it happens texas won't be alone. Most of the south would probably join them...but now I'm speculating...and that's pointless.

The whole thing is pointless. You would not have those defense contracts when it was done and over with. For as much trash that is talked by the state governments in regard to the federal government, Texas, and the people living there, are in fact highly dependent on the federal government.

Texas has oil. Texas has other natural resources. Texas can grow food.
If the south seceded today they'd be just fine. Other nations would line up to trade with us. We wouldn't be operating in a vacuum.
believe what you like, though.

Right..........

Like I said, popcorn eating fun for the whole family.

I'm willing to give it a try.

Louisiana and Texas could survive on their own without the fed gvt...if another 10 states or so joined, all the better.
