Fox settles admitting they provided fake news about Dominion

Well proven that Fox admitted that Court rullings were:

"We acknowledge the Court’s rulings"

FOX News Media, Dominion Voting Systems reach agreement over defamation lawsuit

FOX News Media and Dominion Voting Systems reached a multimillion-dollar agreement following a legal battle that was expected to go to trial this week.

Court said they lied...

Now do you want to keep doing this all day... Are you blind or just fucking slow?
No ,but you’re fucking stupid. That judge’s OPINION is not a court finding. Are you blind, stupid, or just fucking slow?

Obviously neither did Dominion think they would prevail in getting 1.6 billion so they settled for half better than risking nothing. The settlement is done now Dominion gets something, had they not settled and Fox appealed and won, Dominion wouldn't have gotten jack. And what did they get? A settlement on an opinion news program giving their opinions but perhaps just didn't make it clear enough they were just GIVING an opinion!

You repeated that nonsense for nothing as I already pointed out Dominion may not have been that confident they would prevail.

Better luck next time. :itsok:

Except it wasn't the court's. There was no hearing, no jury, it was the lone judge's sole decision in violation of the 7th amendment and he didn't even hear from a single expert witness.

Yes, it was just the judge. And Fox acknowledged his findings.

Dominion should be banned from providing any voting machines to America. Our electoral system cannot be relied upon with a company even suspected of providing false or wrong voting data.

You do realize the judge's opinion matters while yours does not? You get that, right?

And yes, the judge had made a ruling in the case. A very significant ruling...

In addition, Davis ruled that Dominion had already proved the contested statements' falsity. The jury that is scheduled to be seated in the trial in several weeks won't have to weigh their validity; instead, the judge will instruct them that they are false.

Oh, its very much the court's finding. With the court granting Dominion summary judgment on the issue of falsity. But don't take my word for it.

"The evidence developed in this civil proceeding demonstrates that is CRYSTAL clear that none of the Statements relating to Dominion about the 2020 election are true. Therefore, the Court will grant summary judgment in favor of Dominion on the element of falsity. "

The Big Lie just keeps taking one kick in the teeth after another.

Uh oh. Looks like Dominion’s little settlement might be nothing compared to what’s coming for the left’s favorite mouthpiece papers and shows.

LOL

What a pity the statute of limitations in Delaware on defamation suits is only 2 years from the time of the offending statements.

Better luck next time. :itsok:

Except lucid people don't suspect them of providing false or wrong voting data.

The most consistent thing you'll find with the rightwingers is their tendency to answer reality and evidence......with their imagination.

We have an actual settlement, actual court findings, actual rulings. And they counter with their fantasies about imaginary settlements that don't actually exist.

What specifically was it that I said that was nonsense? Be specific and offer evidence supporting your conclusions.

You keep pointing out Dominion settled because they weren't sure they'd win, and comparing that decision to Fox settling. But that's a bullshit comparison given that you claimed Fox would have ultimately prevailed had they not settled.

That's nonsensical. If Fox would have prevailed, they would not have settled.

It's too bad for them their thirst for revenge can be neither satisfied nor quenched.

Yes, it was just the judge. And Fox acknowledged his findings.

A judge doesn't HAVE that authority or power under the 7th amendment and the judge's "findings" were totally arbitrary--- he did not even hear from a single court expert! In fact, there were no hearings or trial. The judge just pulled his decision autocratically out of his ass like a good little fascist. What--- is the judge some sort of former election, news and computerized voting machine expert? Gee, how convenient. Another first for the most corrupt judicial state of the Union, Delaware. And we all pay the price in the damage now done to the 1st amendment, which is supposed to guarantee the right to hear a diversity of opinions and views including ones you don't agree with.

Trump's central message is 'I will be your retribution'. Which tells you everything you need to know what the GOP brings to the table.

Your rant is noted and laughed at. Regardless of your outburst, Dominion acknowledged the court's ruling.

Says you, citing yourself. Meanwhile, back in reality, the court's findings result in summary judgment on the issue of falsity. Which absolutely has an authoritative impact on the case and how it can be argued.

"The evidence developed in this civil proceeding demonstrates that is CRYSTAL clear that none of the Statements relating to Dominion about the 2020 election are true. Therefore , the Court will grant summary judgment in favor of Dominion on the element of falsity."

That summary judgment ended any legal question on whether or not Fox's claims were false for that trial. The issue could be raised on appeal after the trial, but not during.

See, you've confused yourself for the court. YOUR findings are arbitrary and irrelevant. The court's findings are authoritative and binding on the case being tried.

Remember, you don't actually know what you're talking about. That tends to hamper your legal arguments.
