Hannity advises witnesses in Mueller probe smash their phones 'to little itsy bitsy pieces'

Why the hell not? The Hillary email "investigation" established the principle that destroying cell phones and wiping disk drives clean is perfectly acceptable to the FBI. Watch the snowflakes demand that Hannity be arrested for these comments.

Fox News host Sean Hannity appeared on Wednesday to advise witnesses in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation to destroy their personal phones before handing them over to prosecutors.

"If I advised them to follow Hillary Clinton’s lead, delete all your emails and then acid-wash your emails and hard drives on the phones, then take your phones and bash them with a hammer to little itsy bitsy pieces, use BleachBit, remove the sim cards and then take the pieces and hand them over to Robert Mueller," Hannity said on air.

The conservative television host's comments came after CNBC reported that Mueller's team had asked witnesses in its probe to turn over their personal phones for examination of encrypted messaging apps, like WhatsApp and Signal.

The reported request followed a court filing from Mueller's team accusing former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort of attempted witness tampering, in part using encrypted messaging apps.

Etc..
.

Clinton established nothing. There is a logical reason for Clinton doing that other than what you want to assign her behavior to. What Hannity is doing is obstruction of justice. That is a crime.
who's on first, I don't know....third base.

the Hillary team did not smash their phones when under investigation. They destroyed them when they upgraded and got new phones, not to keep investigators from getting them.

Nice OPINION...too bad it has NO place in the world of REALITY!

From CNN:

FBI: Clinton staff destroyed devices with hammers - CNN Video

"CNN's Evan Perez confirms Trump campaign senior adviser Boris Epshteyn's claim that Hillary Clinton staffers destroyed her previous mobile devices using hammers."

D@MN, I do so LOVE completely DESTROYING the FALSE NARRATIVES and LIES snowflakes spew in an attempt to justify / make excuses for their beloved criminals!

:p

By the way, by destroying their government devices / phones and the information on those phones, as well as destroying / taking and hiding sim cards, Hillary and her team COMMITTED SEVERAL UNDENIABLE CRIMES:

1. DESTRUCTION OF GOVT PROPERTY

2. ILLEGAL DESTRUCTION OF CLASSIFIED INFORMATION

3. OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE

4. VIOLATIONS OF BOTH THE FOIA AND FEDERAL RECORDS ACT
--- 1 criminal count for each FOIA and Fed Records Act per document / text / etc... destroyed while never having been turned in as required by both laws (

5. ILLEGAL DESTRUCTION OF CLASSIFIED INFORMATION
never said they did not smash their phones....

nice faux diatribe!

They are very DENIABLE. They were destroyed before the FBI asked for them. It can be defended as proper security measures. You have no clue what you are talking about.

and delete 33k mails
and destroy hard drives with bleach bit *after* being told they would be reviewed.
NOPE!

The Devil is in the details, you are just repeating a Campaign Chant....! (just another lie) ;)

After the Clinton lawyers went through the server and gathered all of the government emails for the National Archives back in December, her lawyers deleted all of her emails and sent the server to a Tech firm they had hired to manage their account....and told them to clean the server as clean as a whistle, and then it could be reused.

Again, this was for security measures that nothing was left on the server, especially the govt emails just turned over to the govt, in case there was any confidential info in the gvt emails...

Again Iceberg, this was December, the firm who got the server was given those instructions to make certain the server was cleaned, by one of the Clinton Lawyers handling it.

the server emails were not subpoenaed until the end of January or February, the following month....

WITHOUT the knowledge of the Clinton team or lawyer that gave the tech firm the direction, the Techie forgot to follow the instructions they were given by the client, and when he remembered that he forgot, HE Cleaned the server as he was instructed a month or two earlier. No one on the Clinton team spoke to him, since he was handed the server back in the December before.

NO ONE on the Clinton team ordered him to bleach bit the server AFTER the subpoena was issued. NO ONE..... backed up in testimony and FBI.
"Securit measures" my ass. It was done to destory the evidence. Someone would have to be terminally gullible to swallow what you're peddling.

You have to prove that in a court of law. You are the most gullible person here.

I never said they did not smash their phones....

No, you just falsely claimed they did not smash their phones when under investigation....which is false.

You claimed they smashed their phones WHEN THEY UPGRADED their devices, which is also NOT true.

The fact that they smashed their phones / devices to destroy them still both constitutes destruction of government property and a crime for illegal destruction of classified devices, covered under both federal law and government regulations. There are specific legally required methods for destruction, none of which they followed.

Then there is still the issue of their reported removing of sim cards before turning over what devices they still had, sim cards never returned. THAT is OBSTRUCTION, non-compliance with a federal subpoena.

No matter how you try to explain it, no matter how you try to spin it, no matter how you try to justify it, Hillary and her team undeniably committed crimes. The FBI even publicly said so.

Hannity is advising them to break the law. What a crooked jerk!

What criminal act would they be trying to hide by smashing them?

From my understanding, many of the witnesses are cooperating and going through their phones with them....to save them time and help them recollect correctly.

If suggesting or advising them to break the law, what does that say about someone that actually destroys their phone.
Excuse me, but these people and all of us, have been notified that the special Councel discovered an encrypted app on Manafort's phone that kept them from seeing all of his messages, until they found this app and broke the code....that is how they just discovered that all the way back in January thru March, Manafort was communicating with a Russian partner and colluding with him to give false testimony on Manafort's activities to the special counsel when questioned.....this violated the rules for his bail....

Now that they Know these apps exist, they want the phones back in some cases, of those they have questioned and evaluated their phones already....

This was announced, and they were subpoenaed or given notice to freeze everything, and do nothing to these phones.

Hannity is advising them to BREAK THE LAW...

When the Clinton team upgraded their phones, and after they transferred their old phone records to their new phones, destroyed their old phones by smashing them, so that no govt information could be gotten off of them, for security reasons.....

Her whole staff had to testify about this to the FBI investigators, and the FBI investigators found that they were not lying....and determined they did not destroy the phones for nefarious reasons....though they did break protocol on how to destroy them.

there was no subpoena on their phones or a notice to freeze their phones, when they destroyed them over the 4 year period.

these witnesses, were notified about the investigators coming for them, and to freeze them.

hannity was telling them, they should break the law.

Great, based on the existence of these so-called mysterious aps used by 'Trump People' the FBI will abuse the FISA courts again, illegally acquire more warrants, and will be breaking into the houses of every Trump associate, Cabinet member, appointee, family member, neighbor, lawyer, and priest to seize their phones to expand his 'fishing expedition' in hopes of finding what he has not discovered yet....

Any EVIDENCE he can use to take Trump down for ANYTHING.....

From FBI fragments, a question: Did Team Clinton destroy evidence under subpoena?

When you aren't guilty you sip ice tea and watch tv.

When you're guilty you frantically destroy evidence as the cops break your door down. Republicans now think criminal behavior is fine as long as you destroy the evidence before the evil cops get it.

I don't think we know if President Trump was really involved, or as deep as others in his campaign.

As example, from what I have read on the indictments for manafort, Manafort was colluding with the Russians, involved with the campaign, but he was doing so, FOR HIS OWN BENEFIT..... for a cut in the money he owed to a Russian Ukrainian oligarch close to Putin....

(things were purposely not released in some of these indictments to keep them from the public view, because they are involved in other parts of the Russian investigation that they still are hunting down)

So, Mueller knows more, but from what has been released for us to see, President Trump may not have known what manafort was up to with the Russians and the deal he made to fill them in on the Trump campaign for a cut on the money he owed them.

in what exactly? got a link?

the only thing deep, was/ is the sand box obammy was playing in.

YOUR claim - prove it.
no, YOU CLAIMED they smashed them AFTER they were subpoenaed, didn't you?

I have already proven Hillary and her team broke numerous laws, to include Obstruction, by deleting records and attempting to BleachBit her server AFTER she was presented with a subpoena demanding she turn over EVERYTHING, not just what she felt like handing over.

Her aides did admit to destroying phones and devices and removing sim cards (which were never turned in) AFTER the subpoena. They also added, however, that they frequently BROKE THE LAW by smashing their devices and replacing them with new phones and devices....that is to say they admitted to destruction of government property and illegally destroying classified against the established rules, regulations, and laws.

Flashback: Clinton’s Conflicting Story To The FBI & American People

(I find it especially amusing how you regularly spew your opinion as fact only to have me repeatedly prove your opinion is NOT fact, that every time I ask you to provide evidence to support your claims you immediately respond by declaring you do not have to and insist I provide evidence to support MY statements...WHICH I DO. lol)

I don't think we know if President Trump was really involved, or as deep as others in his campaign.

...probably because there has NEVER been any evidence to prove a crime was committed warranting the Butt-Hurt Witch Hunt, especially no evidence Trump ever 'illegally colluded' with the Russians...as evidence shows the Democrats most certainly did.

Well, that sounds to me like Hannity believes those witnesses to all be crooks. Otherwise, why would they need to obstruct justice by destroying their phones?

And why is Hannity advising crooks to further break the law?!?

Apparently, Hannity is using the legal argument that "two wrongs make a right" which allows all criminals to henceforth obstruct justice by destroying evidence.

Oh, wait...
