Absolutely BRILLIANT! I have been saying since decades before any idiot proposed trump for president that so many people who call themselves "Christians" managed to evolve a "Christian" religion with absolutely NOTHING about Jesus in it: a religion that clearly rejects the teachings of Jesus. They just use the name of Jesus and the accompanying imagery to hide behind. They quote everyone else, but they never, ever quote Jesus.

Yeah, because I'm sure you spend oodles of time associating with and talking to Christians, outside of this board.

That's the big difference between now and 50 years ago. There are millions of libs on the coasts and other lib enclaves that never actually see or speak to Christians and know nothing about the faith. And its not just the libs and Christians.

When I was a kid, my grandmother wasn't a fan of popular music, acts like Frank Sinatra or the Beatles. But she knew who they were.

Nowadays, they tell me that a rapper that goes by the name of Drake has broken all of the marks for music sales, etc. But if he knocked on my door this afternoon, I wouldn't know him.

What you are writing about is actually a disagreement among Christian sects. I grew up on a coast. Lots of Christians walking around walking around New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania. Lots of Christian churches. Ever hear of St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Cathedral of Saint John the Devine, Marble Collegiate Church (which is supposed to be trump's home church)?
