The rhetoric flooding the country is poisoning us. And no one wants to take responsibility for stepping up and saying "enough already". For changing it.

Our representatives are colleagues first and foremost. Political opponents second. They recognize it. That violence against one is violence against the others and against our very institutions. Why are we unable to recognize that?

It's hard to recall a period of pious bullshit than the past few days. Nothing will change unless Trump is supported. Dims have nothing but "resist". Repubs have no balls. Let trump do his thing.

And before you complain my post is a "prime example" of the problem - allow me to give you an example. Obamacare is 100% unconstitutional. You know it. I know it. Barack Obama knows it. The federal government has zero authority to force citizens to purchase anything. And yet most of the left on this board will deny that fact (even though they know it). So long as the left acts like this, you can forget about civility, softer tone, etc.

Until the left respects the U.S. Constitution and is willing to admit the truth, we are at war. Maybe not a traditional war with bombs and bullets, but a war nonetheless. More like a Civil Cold War.

Obama actually didn't want the mandate- he thought people would just want it. Congress added it. But I'll go with the Supreme court on its constitutionality. Anyone who says either party wants to overthrow the constitution is nuts-
